AbstractHigh-grade disinfection was investigated in high-density ozone excited by a dielectric barrier discharge. The experimental result indicated complete disinfections of Bacillus atrophaeus, a spore forming bacterium and Aspergillus niger, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans have been achieved for the surface exposed high density ozone on metallic career with smooth surface or Exafine, a type of hydrophilic vinyl polysiloxane impression material with complex surface.
