PurposeThis study explores the influencing factors affecting smart supply chain innovation (SSCI) performance of commodity distribution enterprises, and proposes the corresponding framework from the perspective of the application of technology to improve the SSCI performance and make up the research gap in this field.Design/methodology/approachA multi-case study method is adopted in this study. Four distribution commodity distribution enterprises A, B, C and D in China are chosen as case enterprises. The interviews with senior management team members are used to collect data. The combination of open coding and axial coding are used to process the data. By testing the reliability and validity, the theoretical framework is summarized.FindingsFirst, we find that the technology application cost inhibits SSCI and that the level of technology suitable for enterprise development will promote SSCI. Second, SSCI in structure, management and services can improve the performance and innovation ability of enterprises. Third, the quality of multi-channel integration and degree of customization around customer demand can significantly modify the above effects.Originality/valueCompared with previous studies, this study reveals for the first time the correlation between the SSCI performance and technology application, SSCI in structure, management and service, providing new ideas for relevant researches on SSCI, and providing new theoretical support for managers' decision-making related to SSCI.

With the acceleration of urbanization and the shortage of transportation resources in large cities, urban rail transit has gradually become the backbone of urban public transportation system. In order to improve the service level of urban rail transit, this paper studies the factors influencing the service level of subway station passages and the classification method based on the passenger-perception method. Through investigation and research, the passage service level evaluation indicators (width, walking time, per capita area, illumination intensity and guide signage) have been determined. Based on orthogonal experiment, 3ds max was used to set up 25 passage scenes with different parameters from passengers' perspective. A passenger satisfaction questionnaire was designed and distributed, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested to ensure the validity of the data. And based on the factor analysis method, the factors affecting passenger perception are analyzed. A well-fitting model of the relationship between passenger scores and passage parameters is established, and the passenger scores are converted into service levels. Finally, a service level classification method is given, which can provide reference for the service level evaluation of existing stations and the design of physical attributes and environmental factors of new station passages.

Self-service banking technology (SSBT) allow customers to perform services on their own without direct assistance from staff. This study focuses on factors affecting the value of adopting self-Service banking technology (SSBT) among customers. It is believed that the successful usage of self-service banking technology will be increasingly advantageous for all (banks & customers). This chapter's purpose is an extension to the technology acceptance model (TAM) and views customer responses to technology as an integrated part of SSBT. The sample used for this study was selected from users of banks in both Libya and Australia, with a total size of 141 respondents. Reliability and validity of the data collection instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive and regression tests for data analysis were used. The domains in which subjects were tested were “ease of use of SSBT”, “Usefulness of SSBT”, “Quality of SSBT”, “privacy of information” and “Trust of SSBT”.

Introduction: The global prevalence of End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) requiring therapeutic dialysis is on the rise. Haemodialysis is the main therapeutic dialysis method. Evaluating its effectiveness and planning to promote the quality of care and epidemiological research necessitate the development of registries as the main management tool. Aim: To design a national haemodialysis registry model for Iran. Materials and Methods: This was an applied descriptive study. Based on a review of articles and information sources, and a comparative study of national hemodialysis registries in developed countries, a national haemodialysis registry model was designed for Iran. After confirming the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, the designed model was given to nephrologists in a two-stage Delphi technique, and their comments were applied to the final model. Results: The presented national haemodialysis registry model main components consist of: goals, structure, data sources, minimum dataset, standards, and processes, all of which received 100% expert consensus. Conclusion: This registry is a powerful database for the progress of treatment, understanding changes in the treatment and outcomes, examining the factors affecting prognosis and quality of life.

Introduction: Postmenopause is the period when a woman misses her menstrual cycles for the entire year. A host of issues involving health, fitness and psychological problems come up in this phase which effect quality of a life of a woman significantly therefore a substantial degree of care is needed for them. There are various factors that affect the physical and psychological health of postmenopausal women. Aim: To develop a self-structured questionnaire that would identify and address various factors that affect health of postmenopausal women in Gurugram India. Materials and Methods: A thorough literature search related to the subject matter was done along with the interview of researchers working on the health status of postmenopausal women to arrive at a questionnaire, and a pilot study was conducted on 60 postmenopausal women (average age 52±3.44 years) from September 2019 to March 2020. Expert opinion was taken twice before preparing first draft of questionnaire. Questionnaire had 4 sections with questions related to demographic details, medical history, physical activity status and psychological health status. The scores were evaluated and subjected to reliability and validity tests. SPSS software version 20 was used to calculate Cronbach’s alpha value for ensuring reliability of the questionnaire. Results: The questionnaire possesses good content and face validity. Cronbach’s alpha value was 0.772 which indicated acceptable degree of correlation between different items of questionnaire. The final questionnaire consists of 24 questions. Numerical coding of responses was done from 0-2. A score of 0-10, 11-20 and >21 indicated mild, moderate and severe effect respectively on health of postmenopausal women. Conclusion: The questionnaire can be utilised to evaluate factors affecting physical and mental health issues of postmenopausal women.

Despite the growing trend of healthy lifestyle and awareness about the importance of fitness among the urban population in the Kurdistan region, there is no specialized diet restaurant with high service quality in Sulaymaniyah, the second largest city of Kurdistan. This study investigates if establishing a diet food restaurant in Sulaymaniyah is a viable idea. This study also aims to identify the main segments of the market, factors affecting consumers’ opinion regarding the diet food, and their willingness to pay for diet meals. The data were collected through questionnaires from 1200 respondents. The collected data were tested for reliability and validity through Cronbach’s Alpha, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. Segment analysis was performed to test whether the need and demand for diet restaurant and willingness to pay differ across various segments based on gender, age, location, education levels, weight, body mass index, diabetics, profession, gym visitors, income level, and marital status. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) method and independent samples T test were used for this purpose. This study concludes that an untapped and potentially profitable market exists for diet food restaurants in Sulaymaniyah city; however, apart from affluent segment of the market, most consumers are price sensitive.

The lack of consumer trust in green residences is an important reason why the green residential market is difficult to promote. According to the consumer theory and trust building model, structural equation model (SEM) of the factors affecting the trust of green residences is established. According to the questionnaire of 368 consumers in Xi’an, China, the reliability and validity of the original data are analyzed by SPSS data analysis software, and SEM model is processed by AMOS analysis software to obtain the key influencing factors of consumer trust in green residences. The results show that individual characteristics, green residential knowledge, green residential information, environmental responsibility awareness, perceived value, and institutional evaluation are important factors influencing consumer trust. Individual characteristics, environmental responsibility awareness, and institutional evaluation significantly positively affect consumer trust at the 1% level; green residential knowledge and green residential information significantly positively affect consumer trust at the 5% level; perceived value negatively affects consumer trust at the 1% level. The research results can provide an important reference for enhancing consumer trust and promoting the green residences.
