The paper is devoted to experimental study of alumina and other nanopowders by electron paramagnetic resonance method. The experiments have showed the surface donor centers for ZrO2 + MgO (9 % mol.) and Al2O3 samples. The influence of Fe(3+) dirt was determined in glacial Al2O3 liquid melt, but Al2O3 nanopowder was free from this impurity. The Cr(5+) dirt were found in ZrO2 + MgO (9 % mol.) nanopowder sample.
