Herein we report the first example of the proton conductivity of an open-framework metal phosphate (NH3(CH2)3NH3)2–[Fe4(OH)3(HPO4)2(PO4)3]·4H2O under aqua-ammonia vapor.

The open-framework cobalt phosphate, (C2N2H10)0.5CoPO4, shows highly thermally stable and superior water-stable and water-assisted proton conductance with s = 2.05 × 10−3 S cm−1 at 329 K and 98% RH.
