In this paper, a new two-input three-output second-order universal filter is proposed. Two multi-output voltage controlled current followers (MO-VCCFs) and two capacitors are used in the proposed filter. The proposed filter does not have external passive resistors. It has high output impedances yielding easy cascadability. It has the property of electronic tunability. It does not need any critical passive component matching conditions. Also, it is composed of only grounded capacitors; accordingly, it is suitable for integration. Theoretical knowledge is supported via SPICE simulations.

A proposal of a fractional ([Formula: see text])-order low-pass filter is presented in this paper. The proposed filter operates in the current-mode and it is designed using Multi-Output Current Followers (MO-CFs), Dual-Output Current Follower (DO-CF), Dual-Output Adjustable Current Amplifier (DO-ACA) and Adjustable Current Amplifiers (ACAs) as active elements within the presented topology of the filter. The filter possesses ability to electronically control its order and also the pole frequency by changing the current gain of current amplifiers (ACAs) already present in the structure. Three different values of the order and pole frequency of the proposed low-pass filter were tested as an example. Design of the proposed filter is supported by simulation and experimental results. Simulations of the circuit are carried out in PSPICE simulator with behavioral models of used active elements. The experimental laboratory measurements are performed with the help of available devices forming equivalent circuits. Simulations and experimental results of the electronical control of the order and pole frequency are compared in this contribution.

A new universal active current-mode filter with single input and five outputs is presented. The proposed filter avoids the use of feedback in any part of the circuit and uses only grounded resistors and grounded capacitors. The proposed circuit can simultaneously realize lowpass, highpass, bandpass, allpass, and notch biquadratic filter functions.

This paper presents operational floating current conveyor (OFCC) based single input four output current mode filter. It employs only three OFCCs and two grounded capacitors and resistors each. The MOS based grounded resistors implementation is used, which adds feature of electronic tunability to the filter parameters. The filter also enjoys low component spread and low sensitivity performance. The effect of finite transimpedance and parasites of OFCC on the proposed circuit is also analyzed. The functionality of the proposed circuit is demonstrated through SPICE simulations using 0.5 µm CMOS process model provided by MOSIS (AGILENT).
