The intensive development of information technologies and software and hardware of control systems creates conditions for active processes of digitalization of the industry. One of the relevant areas of digitalization in production is the development and implementation of flexible production systems that expand the functionality of production lines and increase the efficiency of the production process. This paper deals with the development of a transport management system of a flexible production system. A solution is proposed that includes a block diagram of the system, hardware and functional logic.

Abstract.The present article develops an analysis on the importance of the application of theknowledge on the part of the workers in the systems of production Taylorist, fordista and of flexible production. A documentary analysis is carried out and it is found that, in order of importance, the flexible production system is the one that most promotes the application of knowledge by workers, then Taylorism and finally Fordism.Key words: knowledge and worker, taylorist production system, fordist production system, flexible production system.

The article describes the use of flexible project management approaches during the formation of virtual enterprises. The article is devoted to the consideration of modern approaches to the definition of the concept of "virtual enterprise with a flexible production system." The study used several methods: generalization, systematization, formalization, logical, formal methods, as well as comparative analysis methods to study modern approaches of the definition of the studied concept. The tasks considered in the article are theoretical. The economic content of the concept of “virtual enterprise and flexible production system” is disclosed. The article presents the current economic content of the concept of “Flexible production system” based on a review of modern approaches to the definition of this concept, and also highlights key indicators for the implementation of a flexible production system. The basic concepts, ideas, methods of creating virtual enterprises are formulated. A new technology for the implementation of management tasks based on system design, control theory, business process and intelligent modeling were proposed [2,3].

Industry 4.0 offers a new opportunity to realize flexible and efficient production. Through modelling the production systems in Industry 4.0, potential delays, interrupts and defaults could be prognosticated and treated on time. Consequently, the productivity and efficiency of production systems can be enhanced. Flexibility has a far-reaching impact on the design of production systems in Industry 4.0 and is still a challenge in the modelling yet. In order to achieve realistic results, dependence must also be taken into account. In this article, a concept of flexible production system in Industry 4.0 is first presented. Then, two models of extended coloured stochastic Petri nets are built and simulated using a software REALIST to investigate the features of flexibility and dependence in production systems in Industry 4.0. As a result, the productivity and availability of production systems are analysed and discussed in the end.

Organizational culture is the driving force behind the transformation of the enterprise. Effective improvement of production systems of industrial enterprises is based on the use of organizational culture resources. The development of the production system is an ongoing process based on such key elements as the management system, management processes and organizational culture. The quintessence of such development is the formation of the cultural shell of the enterprise and the establishment of ideal production, where people are the only active resource, since without them self-development is impossible. The stages of applied measures to improve the production system with various resources that include key development elements: the management system and processes, the formation of a system for collecting, analyzing and using best practices in order to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise, building a self-developing system of continuous improvements, creating an organizational culture that allows maximize the potential of employees and develop their abilities, have been considered in the article. Each stage of the development of PSP must pursue a goal of forming a loyal team.
