AbstractA highly efficient synthetic route to polysubstituted 2H-chromenes was developed utilizing a domino O-alkylation/intramolecular Horner–Wadsworth–Emmons (HWE) olefination of diarylmethylphosphonates, which were readily accessed via Lewis acid mediated one-pot three-component coupling of aldehydes, phenols, and triethyl phosphite.

We have developed a highly efficient synthetic route to carbazoles that employs sequential C–C/C–N bond formation via Suzuki cross-coupling and Cadogan cyclization. The developed method is compatible with electron neutral, rich or deficient substrates. The synthetic utility of this method was demonstrated by the concise syntheses of four natural products.

A one-pot green and highly efficient method for the synthesis of propargylamines and distereoselective synthesis of fused triazoles via three-component coupling in the presence of manganese(ii) chloride and a catalyst-free 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction without using a co-catalyst is reported.
