The growing development of computers triggers the amount of software in different amounts and uses. A system is said to be good when starting planning that can estimate the cost, time and amount of resources needed as a basis for planning a system. So that the estimated cost can be an element in an assessment. The research explains that the Academic Guidance Information System (SIBIMA) which is a system for carrying out student consultation activities with academic advisers at XYZ University. From the software cost estimation results at SIBIMA use Function Point which is a method of estimating software size using an indirect approach or indirect approach to estimate software size in Function Point units (FP), for Effort values on SIBIMA is 379,906 man / hour and it is known that the cost needed in developing SIBIMA is IDR 22,858,705 so that it can be used as a reference if the higher education institution wants to develop a software system

Parking problem is being more and more difficult with increasing of total vehicles and lack of parking facilities, it is necessary to guide driver in order to cut down useless driving in the process of searching parking space. This paper designs an Parking Guidance Information System (PGIS) based on ITO technology, Zigbee technology is used to perceive vacancy parking space information and send to parking management system through wireless network, Parking space release system control and ensure the accurate release of information, thus the function of parking guidance is realized, besides this system has the function of reservation through mobile operating platform. The application of the PGIS will contribute to improving the order and efficiency of parking.

AbstrakPenelitian ini dibuat bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu media bimbingan akademik mahasiswa dengan dosen Pembimbing Akademiknya berupa aplikasi sistem informasi berbasis web. Target penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah adanya aplikasi sistem informasi bimbingan online yang menarik dan mudah untuk digunakan baik oleh mahasiswa maupun oleh dosen Pembimbing Akademik itu sendiri.Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi sistem informasi bimbingan akademik mahasiswa dengan dosen pembimbing akademik berbasis web sebagai media bimbingan tambahan. Aplikasi sistem informasi ini dibuat agar proses pelaporan pembimbingan juga dapat terkomputerisasi dan terdokumentasi dengan baik.Aplikasi sistem informasi bimbingan akademik mahasiswa dengan dosen Pembimbing Akademik ini merupakan aplikasi sistem informasi bimbingan alternatif berbasis web yang berdiri sendiri dan dapat dijalankan komputer atau netbook yang memiliki koneksi Internet. The development of private vehicle ownership is very rapid, but it is not balanced by adequate supporting infrastructure such as roads and parking lots. Especially for parking lots, parking horizontally will be difficult to develop because of the limited land availability. The addition of parking lots can be done vertically by building a multi-storey parking building. So far, the existence of multi-storey parking buildings has not provided an information system on the availability of parking spaces. The form of multi-storey parking lots often makes the driver have to go around few times to find an empty space. This situations wasting of energy and time. This study aims to design an information system as application models in human-computer interaction, that will inform someone there is empty or already filled parking space, so that it can save time and make it easier for drivers to find parking spaces to park their cars. This information system prototype design consists of three main parts, called sensors, controllers, and displays. Car parking control system that works with an automatic portal (parking gate) along with a display screen for information on the location of empty parking spaces and those that have been filled. The portal will open if information states the parking lot is still available, and the portal will not open if information states the parking lot is full.
