This study is based on the energy audit and energy consumption analysis of Taiyuan government office building and large public building, and objectiveiy appraises the building energy consumption, makes a quantitative analysis on energy consumption situation of the energy-using building. Then we know the problems of the public building energy consumption .we can conclude that the potential of public building energy efficiency ,and put forward energy-saving measures to promote the energy saving reform of public building.

Building energy simulation is an important supporting tool for green building design and building energy consumption assessment, At present, Building energy simulation software can't meet the needs of energy consumption analysis and cabinet level micro environment control design of prefabricated building. thermal physical model of prefabricated building is proposed in this paper, based on the physical model, the energy consumption calculation software of prefabricated cabin building(PCES) is developed. we can achieve building parameter setting, energy consumption simulation and building thermal process and energy consumption analysis by PCES.

Facing with the high energy consumption in Chinas building sector, it is of great significance to understand the accurate building energy consumption. Therefore, this paper investigated the different analysis methods of building energy consumption mainly applied in China, trying to understand the status of building energy consumption. Field survey and statistics, models, and computer simulation analysis, employing as major instruments currently for analyzing building energy consumption in China, were introduced briefly.
