Abstract The Brazilian’s Cerrado is recognized as the richest in biodiversity savanna in the world, with the presence of several ecosystems. Therefore, their study in education has great importance in strengthening the training of students to learn and practice environmental conservation of this biome. The objective of this study was to assess the process of learning about the cerrado by the interaction of students in a differentiated class, using the five senses (touch, smell, taste, hearing and vision). The methodology is based on the fact of trying to reconnecting people of temporary nature without the use of vision, awakening to the use of other senses in the exploration of "sensory trails." The results demonstrated that the use of sensory trail was satisfactory in increasing student interest and learning about the development of the cerrado. Key words: Environmental education. Sensory trail. Science. Teaching-learning process.

Based on observations made by researchers at MTs Kebunrejo Genteng, it turns out that there are still many weaknesses and obstacles faced, especially in learning (SKI). This was strengthened based on the results of interviews with some eighth grade students, their understanding in the learning process was felt to be lacking because most of them assumed that subjects (SKI) were subjects that tended to be less interesting and boring, because students had to memorize years or names. figure. Because it is considered a boring subject which in the end has an impact on the students' lack of understanding in receiving the subject matter, this can be seen in the odd semester scores on the material of the Islamic dynasty. This can be proven from 34 students of which 14 students scored below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), namely 7. Based on the above problems, the researcher intends to describe the problem by using a learning medium that can help students understand the learning material. The learning media used were documentary films. The results of research on the use of documentary film learning media in class VIII C students at MTs Kebunrejo Genteng are that students are easier to understand and memorize Islamic dinasty subject matter (Ayyubiyah), student interest in learning is better than before, and students can achieve the above score (KKM) that is the value 7.

This paper discusses the application of frame analysis as a method of designing and evaluating outdoor environmental education programs. In particular, it investigates what frames are communicated in these programs, why and how program leaders focus on communicating particular frames, and how students interact with these frames. Five outdoor environmental education programs for elementary school students were analyzed. We used a qualitative approach that combined field observation, interviews with program leaders (N = 15), qualitative findings based on questionnaires collected from the participants after completing the programs (N = 365), and interviews with some of the students (N = 10). According to the results, while the leaders intensively applied various surface frames to attract student interest and organize the program activities, the deep frames aimed for in the main program messages connected with the program goals often remained implicit and were not recognized by the students.
