Abstract The view of the logical positivism group regarding science is based on the development of exact sciences, scientific truth can be measured positively, namely the truth must be real, concrete, logical, accurate and useful, but the effect behind everything abstract and metaphysical in the dimensions of life is ignored and regardless of observation. The main idea of logical positivism that was promoted by Alfred Jules Ayer, one of which is the principle of verification. In the application of the verification principle, it can also be taken for study studies in the determination of Qiyas law, namely by analogizing a law that has not yet been stipulated in the text, by testing and observing by verifying the causes of its similarity with the established law, determining the similarity of causes with logical parameters. and also empirical. The analogy in Qiyas must go through a verification stage, namely because it must be a real and visible nature by the five senses, and logic, as well as through the empirical proof stage. According to logical positivism and qiyas, the main condition is that it must be something that is visible, and get rid of pseudo-problems. Keywords: Logical positivism, Verification, Qiyas.

The law of maintaining the purity of the Qur'an for all Muslims is fardhu 'ain (mandatory) for Muslims to maintain the authenticity of the contents and lafal of the Qur'an, either by studying, memorizing, thinking and studying the interpretation of the Qur'an. However, many people are afraid of memorizing the Qur'an because the language of the Qur'an is a foreign language and there are many and many verses in common, and what is no less important is the method of memorizing the Qur'an. They don't know yet, how to memorize the Qur'an easily, happily while still paying attention to the reading in accordance with the rules of ulumut tajwid while still paying attention to the tadabur side of the Qur'an when interacting with the Qur'an, either by memorizing or memorizing. Slowly, as time progressed, the methods of memorizing the Qur'an were perfected so that the Tahfiz al-Qur'an Quarantine Foundation formulated a sophisticated acceleration method that was given to Muslims who were able to answer the needs of the community if they wanted to memorize the Qur'an, namely memorizing the Qur'an using the Yadain Method by using the potential that exists within the five senses, which if in the process of memorizing it is done well with ‘ulum al-tajwid, it will make the process of memorizing the Qur'an easy. In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach which the author is directly involved in the field has applied the yadain method. The benefit in the application of this yadain method is to print a memorizer of the Qur'an by knowing the location of the verse and the number of the verse or what can be called (visualization of the Qur'an), then having the ability to memorize what is in the contents of the verses of the Qur'an. So that the messages contained in the Qur'an can reach him through contemplation of the verses of the Qur'an with the assistance of the translation of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.

Most of us have five senses that our brains use to create a model of the world us. We see, hear, smell, taste, and touch our way around. If one of your senses is not working properly, your brain fills in the gaps by paying more attention to the other senses. However, your other senses cannot always fill in the gaps. If your ears are not working, your eyes alone may not be able to tell your brain that an out-of-control car is screeching toward you! But what if we could help the brain fill in the gaps by purposefully sending the missing information through another sense? What if you could “hear” where a sound is through your sense of touch? This article will explain how people were able to do just that, using wristbands that converted sound into vibration.

Activities including movements can make young learners understand something through their five senses. However, instead of accommodating them to learn physically, most of the teachers often tell young learners to stay still on their seat. Therefore, this article investigated on how movement activities can be used by the teachers to engage the young learners at school. In this study, library research method was conducted in collecting the data which is also analyzed by the researcher. Teaching young learners is not as easy as it seems. One of their characteristics is they like to learn through movement activities which can be done by seeing, hearing, touching and interacting with something. Unfortunately, this characteristic also can be a problem for teacher to engage them in the classroom activity since they can be easily distracted over things that they are curious about. There is one thing that the teacher could implement to make the students engage in the class which is by using movement activities. Instead pushing the students to stay still and keep silence, it is better to make use or utilize their characteristic as a way to learn. Some activities which are including movements like music or singing a song and playing games with some physical moves, total physical response activities, and some other activities which involve coloring, cutting, sticking, and any other movements activities could be done by the teacher inside or outside the classroom.

This study discusses how to understand the unity, complexity, and intensity of Yazid's painting using Monroe Beardsley's theory. Yazid is a West Sumatran artist who is quite famous for his naturalist flow and cannot be separated from the concept of natural beauty. This study uses a qualitative method which includes observation, interviews, and literature study. The research was conducted in the cities of Padang, Padang Pariaman and Padangpanjang, West Sumatra. After conducting research, it was found that Unity (unity) in Yazid's paintings as a whole shows how the arrangement of lines, colors, and compositions are produced in a perfect shape so that it looks like a unity. This makes for distinctive strokes and soft colors and object capture. The complexity of Yazid's paintings can be seen in the lighting which is described as similar to what is captured by the five senses so that the object does not look simple. How Yazid tries to present the refraction of light that is shown in each of his paintings. The intensity (seriousness) in Yazid's paintings can be seen in the lighting as the key in each of his works.

Abstract. The first lock-down in France due to the Covid-19 pandemic happened during spring 2020. It meant restrictions for everyone regarding reachable space and possible time length outside home. The seminar of sensitive mapping taking place in École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) went online and proposed an exercise to investigate the consequences of these statutory restrictions on individual lived and perceived space. The defined protocol of the exercise was based on the framework of the sensitive map approach. This approach adapts the principles of conventional cartography so that to favour personal information selection and design. Each participant of the seminar had the task to map their space. Displayed information should concern meaningful elements from their spatial environment. Other targeted information was sensitive information including emotions, feelings, and opinions as well as perceived elements from the five senses. The resulted map corpus offers diverse mapping creations. Each map contains several graphic items. Items are mainly cartographical displays enriched with non-cartographical drawings, pictures, photos, records, charts. Techniques were mixed: pen, fabrics, computer-based. The themes of displayed elements are about spatially-stable features like the dwelling, buildings remained open, green spaces, and about ephemeral and sensitive information like social interactions, people, perceived sounds, smells and feelings about the lock-down situation and the pandemic. Some maps have used or were inspired by topographic maps. Though in most maps, distances and topology are subjective. Sensitive mapping appeared as an interesting approach to collect individual testimonies and might be complementary to statistical studies.
