Abstract In the construction industry, traditional method for analysing human comfort is time consuming. Thus, artificial intelligence (AI) has been slowly being applied in the software stimulation and building management system to solve the typical comfort analysis method. The potential and limitation of the AI system in the building service are presented through PRISMA review. The AI system enables the building service system to analysis in real-time, optimising energy efficiency, enhance occupant’s satisfaction, risk mitigation, cost minimisation and work efficiency increased. However, the AI system application in the building service still faces some challenges such as lack of big data and the varying parameter of data input in the software system, expensive initial cost and required expertise.

Using GIS(Geographic Information System), GPS(Global Positioning System), and GPRS(General Packet Radio Service), an digital mining control management system in an open pit has been designed and developed. A linear programming model is set up in a practical application. By the model, the system can automatically draw up production plan of ore blending well every day. The system can monitor and dispatch open-pit trucks and shovels well, and can play back their historical paths. It can monitor and control the process of mining production in real time. The system can also count the number of trucks’ delivery and shovels’ loading automatically. Experiments on real scenes show that the performance of this system is stable and can satisfy production standards of ore blending in open pits.

On the basis of an integration project of intelligent building system completed by the author recently , and through analysis of the concept for IBMS, this paper explains in detail engineering design plan. The paper also presents in detail the design of power distribution monitoring and management system, illumination monitoring and management system, and the realization of their functions. We can see that application of intelligent building management system can bring enormous direct economic benefits to the terminal. The indirect benefits in the control, management, information and decision making are immeasurable.

A Building Management System is also known as Building Automation System (BAS), It is a Computer based control system installed in buildings that controls and monitors buildings mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems and security systems. A building management system for METRO includes inputs from the systems like HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning), Lifts Escalators, UPS and Fire Alarm and Detection System etc. A Building Management system uses a PLC controller along with SCADA suite to monitor and control all the systems included in the Metro. BMS provides Automatic Fault Detection System and diagnosis strategies for building energy performance
