Abstract Background This study was designed for the research and development (R&D) and application of a storage inflow and outflow management system enabling departments to perform efficient, scientific, and information-based consumable management. Methods In the endocrinology department of a hospital, expert and R&D teams in consumable management were set up, and an information-based storage inflow and outflow management system for consumables was designed and developed. The system was operated on a personal computer and was divided into three modules: public consumables, bed consumables, and quality control management. The functions of the system included storage inflow and outflow, early warnings, response to user queries, and statistics on consumables. Data were derived from the hospital information system (HIS,ZHIY SOFTWARE HIS VERSION4.0) and a questionnaire survey. Economic indicators, work efficiency of consumable management, nurse burnout, consumable stockroom management, and staff satisfaction were compared under manual management, Excel-based management, and the consumable storage inflow and outflow management system. The results of the questionnaire were analysed using the R software, version 4.1.0. Results Dates were obtained from manual management, Excel-based management and the consumable storage inflow and outflow management system. Under these three methods, the daily prices of department consumables per bed were 53.43 ± 10.27 yuan, 38.65 ± 8.56 yuan, and 31.98 ± 7.36 yuan, respectively, indicating that the new management system reduced costs for the department. The time spent daily on consumable management was shortened from 119.5 (106.75, 123.5) min to 56.5 (48.5, 60.75) to 20 (17.25, 24.25) min. Nurses’ emotional fatigue and job indifference scores, respectively, decreased from 22.90 ± 1.65 and 8.75 ± 1.25 under manual management to 19.70 ± 1.72 and 6.90 ± 1.37 under Excel-based management and to 17.20 ± 2.04 and 6.00 ± 1.30 under the novel system; the satisfaction of the warehouse keeper and collection staff, respectively, increased from 76.62% and 80.78% to 91.6% and 90.5% to 98.8% and 98.5% under the three successive systems. Conclusions The storage inflow and outflow management system achieved produced good results in the storage and classification of consumables.

Blockchain technology, as a database which combines encryption algorithm, smart contract, consensus mechanism, time stamp, and other technologies, has received wide attention from all walks of life and can be used to solve such problems as asymmetric, incomplete, and untimely information in both interenterprise transactions and enterprise internal control management as a good solution owing to its characteristics of decentralization, traceability, and tamper-proofness. Consequently, it is worthy of studying how to apply blockchain technology to daily business activities of enterprises. In this paper, some problems existing in the value chain activities of the enterprise internal procurement are analyzed by designing the solutions to requisition, warehousing, and payment based on blockchain technology, in which the Hyperledger Fabric platform is selected as an implementation tool to simulate some purchasing data for testing procedures. After the successful test, the research conclusions and research prospects of this paper are thus proposed, proving the feasibility of applying the blockchain technology to the internal value chain management of the enterprise, which provides reference for the construction of the internal value chain management of the enterprise by the blockchain.

Management control tools are of great importance for any organization, therefore, in this research work, the study of management control tools will be carried out in the operational areas of a logistics facility in the state of Veracruz. , to later develop a measuring instrument. The study proposes to design a measurement instrument based on a Likert scale, converting qualitative information into quantitative data by the researcher, which allows visualization and clarity in determining the ideal tools for the control management of the studied area. The instrument will be applied to the company's experts, since they provide reliable information and provide a reliable scenario. The information is analyzed by the researcher, to later design and define a proposal, a proposal that allows the correct selection of control management tools and comprehensively improve the organization.

Internet of things (IoT) is the network of the devices includes the updating in technology, various devices are using sensors, actuators, embedded computing and cloud computing. This type of system leads to smart architecture in the home, cities and smart world. IoT plays an important role in traffic controlling and managing. In this paper, we give an overview of the various methods of traffic control management. With the help of this IOT kit, which includes different sensors to collect the data and process it accordingly with the help of big data analysis and deep learning algorithms, most accurate and efficient results are obtained for traffic management.

Subject. This article studies the current norms and rules enshrined in legislative acts and regulatory legal acts of executive authorities of various levels regulating departmental control in relation to State (municipal) institutions. Objectives. The article aims to assess the state of the regulatory framework in the field of organization and implementation of departmental control of financial and economic activities of State (municipal) institutions. It also aims to identify topical issues of statutory regulation of departmental control and outline possible directions for its development. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of analysis, grouping, comparison, and generalization. Results. Based on the study of legal acts regulating the models of financial control, management functions and powers of executive bodies in relation to subordinate State (municipal) institutions, the article identifies certain powers of the founder that require regulatory consolidation, and proposes a structure for the concept of departmental control. Conclusions. The article confirms the hypothesis of insufficient statutory regulation of departmental control of financial and economic activity of State (municipal) institutions and the need to develop a legislative document conceptually defining the control direction of the activities of executive authorities.

Moving Target Defense (MTD) has recently emerged as a significant cybersecurity technique. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has the capability to design efficient network architecture due to its programmability and centralized control management. In this paper, a mechanism for the protection against insider reconnaissance has been proposed using a combination of diversity and a shuffling-based approach of MTD. In order to implement the shuffling technique, IP shuffling is used in the insider network. The IP addresses of internal hosts are mapped via real to virtual IP mapping through random IP generation from a pseudo-random mechanism. For the diversity, a multiple servers’ platform is incorporated for different critical LAN services like Domain Name System (DNS), internal web services, etc. This combined diversity and shuffling approach significantly counters the insider reconnaissance targeting critical LAN services. The proposed scheme also exploited open-source IDS to block insider reconnaissance. The proposed solution was implemented using ONOS SDN controller, Mininet simulator, Snort IDS systems. The experimental results substantiate effective protection against insider network reconnaissance at a low computational cost.

Pineapple is a perennial fruit-bearing tropical plant that belongs to the Bromeliaceae family, which has more than 2500 species. Pineapple is known excellent source of minerals and vitamins. It produces substantial calcium, potassium, glucose, the proteindigesting enzyme bromelain, fibre, vitamin A, B and C. In Malaysia, twelve registered varieties of pineapple have been introduced and commercially planted such as Moris (AC1), Sarawak (AC2), Gandul (AC3), Maspine (AC4), Josapine (AC5) Yankee (AC6) Moris Gajah (AC7), N36 (AC8), MD2 (AC9), View of Sunset (AC10), Madu Kaca (AC11), and Keningau Diamond (AC12). The disease is one of the important factors that can contribute to the huge losses of pineapple yield worldwide. This review paper aimed to discuss the main diseases of pineapple and their control management, particularly in Malaysia. The common diseases of pineapple that cause significant yield losses in the farms such as mealybug wilt-associated virus, bacterial heart rot, fruit collapse, butt rot, fruitlet core rot, black rot, yeasty and fusariosis are highlighted and discussed in detail on the causal pathogens, disease symptoms and signs, disease infection and development. The available control measures for managing pineapple diseases were also included in this paper.
