Abstract [Title:Work Safety and Health Evaluation on Industrial Engineering Design Practicum II using Job Safety Analysis Method]Industrial Engineering Design Practicum II (IEDP II) is part of an integrated practicum in the UNS Industrial Engineering Study Program that carry out manufacturing activities from raw materials to products. The manufacturing process usesmachines that cause noise that are not in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health (OHS). This study consisted to evaluate OHS in IEDP II to anticipate workplace accidents. OHS analysis uses the Job Safety Analysis Method by identifying and analyzingthe potential risk of workplace accidents. The method of this research is carried out by measuring noise and temperature and conducting structured interviews with practitioners.Measurements made were measurements of noise and temperature in the laboratory and to strengthen the results of measurements conducted structuredinterviews of 20 practitioners from a total of 71 students who then analyzed using JSA. The results of the risk level assessment revealed that 66.67% of the highest risk potential was due to noise. Keywords:JobSafety Analysis;Occupational Safety and Health; Industrial Engineering Design Practicum II

Total Dwi Daya yaitu peningkatan pengawasan terhadap pekerja serta pelatihan pembuatan Job Safety Analysis   Abstract   Every workplace always have risk and possibility of accidents and occupational diseases. In an effort to control the risk of accidents and occupational diseases, sources of hazards that exist in the workplace need to be identified, evaluated its level of risk and proper control. The incident of accident and injury at work can be reduced by using Job Safety Analysis. The purpose of this research was to understand the potential of danger and right control of it in workshop division Total Dwi Daya Corporation. Thisstudy was using qualitative descriptive research with observational approach. Primary data used in this research were observation in working process and interview with supervisor. Secondary data were work instruction and accident data. Conclusion of this research, potential dangers found in workshop division were: muscle spasms, hit by fallen plate, sprains, slips, squished by plate, squished by machine, electric shock, collide, cut by plate, strucked by plate, exposed to hot surfaces, exposed to fire, smoke inhalation, tripping over wires, grinding exposed, exposed to sparks, struck pipe, drill hit, exposed nails and scraped. Suggestions for Total Dwi Daya Corporation are raising a control of workers and training Job Safety Analysis training.

AbstractThe article presents the Job Safety Analysis for a Glass Production Line Operator's Workstation in the context of the Risk Management Process. The main tasks performed by the worker have been defined, and then risks associated with each activity and preventive actions have been identified. On this basis, for the Health & Safety risk analysis and assessment, criteria have been established, which take into account the actual exposure to risks and their probability and results.

The contribution of accidental discharges to the total emission of contaminating substances in surface waters is relatively increasing, as regular discharges are reduced. In The Netherlands a program has been started to develop a quantitative risk analysis method to be used within the discharge permitting process. The methodology takes into account the type of activities and related accident scenarios in terms of failure frequencies and source sizes, correction factors according to specific circumstances, as well as the nature of the receiving system (types of surface waters, but also public sewage water treatment plants). The methodology will provide an indication of the risk reduction needed in terms of reducing the frequency and/or the volume of possible spills. The method itself, the use of it within the legal framework and the relation with the EC-Directives are discussed.
