Internal Control is a process that is controlled by each person in a company to achieve stated objectives such as: complying with regulations and laws, securing company assets and data, accuracy of financial statements and efficiency and operating effectiveness. This research was conducted to evaluate the internal ctheontrol system of raw material inventory which was been applied. Makmur Jaya.the type of research used descriptive is descriptive qualitative research type with case study approuch that describes and explains a problem in systematic and factual so that by collecting information related to the object under study. Data source used in primary and secoundary data source. The data collection technical used are obervations. Interviews and documentantation. Data analisys technique is done by collectiong data, describing the internal control system of raw material inventory applied by the company, then evaluate the internal control system applied. Makmur Jaya based on the control environment, risk assesment, control activities information and communication and monitoring. The results of this study indicate that the internal control sytem applied is bad cause there are double control is one human. Keyword : Internal Control System, Raw Material Inventory

A large amount of inventory in the company makes high inventory cost, while low inventory will risk the occurrence of shortage of inventory. The research was conducted at Barjaz Company, to find out how the raw material inventory system applied by the company, and whether the system is efficient or not. Methods of data collection is done by conducting interviews to parties related to inventory and observation on the object under study. Data analysis techniques used are; EOQ analysis, determining safety stock, determining reorder point, determining maximum inventory, calculating inventory turnover and calculating total inventory cost. The results show that the inventory system applied today is still not effective. Companies should conduct inventory control system using EOQ method. With the implementation of EOQ, the company's inventory turnover value increased and the company issued a total inventory cost of Rp 1,099,982, lower than the company's inventory control system at Rp 1,671,100.

Increasing the rate of converting raw material into finished product and delivering it on time is a main driver for each manufacturing industry to achieve continuous improvement in its business operation.  This case study demonstrates the improvement of the work-in-progress inventory in a non-lean company seeking to adopt lean management.  Introducing the value stream mapping (VSM) lean technique to identify the waste in the current production operation. A selection of lean tools such as Kanban card, supermarket racking and one-piece flow are applied to control and monitor the WIP inventory after justification of the factors (process cycle time, production facilities layout and facilities capacity allocation) that influence the change from the current production operation situation. The construction of the current VSM had identified the major waste in WIP inventory handling in the final fabrication process.  The fluctuation of WIP inventory has been resolved by the implementation of supermarket racking; therefore, an improvement base for WIP inventory control has been established.  Throughout this study, the lean management concept had been fostered into the production floor team and will continue developing to the organization.

Pizzahut Setiabudi Semarang is a middle class restaurant in Indonesia that serves pizza, pasta and also various kinds of food. The process of recording stock inventories at Pizzahut Setiabudi currently still uses manual recording on books, both incoming and outgoing materials. In addition, the procurement process for raw material stock only uses estimates, this can lead to excess stock in the warehouse or actually experience a stock shortage which can later hamper the operational process of the business. In this research, we build a raw material inventory control system to help restaurants manage material stock data using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. EOQ is a method used to optimize the purchase of raw materials that can reduce inventory costs so that the efficiency of material inventory in the company can run well.
