In the case of light-emitting diode (LED) seaport luminaires, they should be designed in consideration of glare, average illuminance, and overall uniformity. Although it is possible to implement light distribution through auxiliary devices such as reflectors, it means increasing the weight and size of the luminaire, which reduces the feasibility. Considering the special environment of seaport luminaires, which are installed at a height of 30 m or more, it is necessary to reduce the weight of the device, facilitate replacement, and secure a light source with a long life. In this paper, an optimized lens design was investigated to provide uniform light distribution to meet the requirement in the seaport lighting application. Four types of lens were designed and fabricated to verify the uniform light distribution requirement for the seaport lighting application. Using numerical analysis, we optimized the lens that provides the required minimum overall uniformity for the seaport lighting application. A theoretical analysis for the heatsink structure and shape were conducted to reduce the heat from the high-power LED light sources up to 250 W. As a result of these analyses on the heat dissipation characteristics of the high-power LED light source used in the LED seaport luminaire, the heatsink with hexagonal-shape fins shows the best heat dissipation effect. Finally, a prototype LED seaport luminaire with an optimized lens and heat sink was fabricated and tested in a real seaport environment. The light distribution characteristics of this prototype LED seaport luminaire were compared with a commercial high-pressure sodium luminaire and metal halide luminaire.

Desain jaringan distribusi merupakan bagian Supply Chain Management (SCM) untuk mengoptimalkan jaringan distribusi agar terhindar dari kelebihan atau kekurangan inventory. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Perum BULOG Divisi Regional Kalimantan Barat dengan mengadopsi konsep Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) yang berfokus kepada inventory dan saluran distribusi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendesain jaringan distribusi Bantuan Sosial Beras Sejahtera (Bansos Rastra) yang dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman untuk mengoptimalkan sistem distribusi sehingga memberikan layanan terbaik kepada masyarakat. Metodologi penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pengumpulan data, menganalisis kebutuhan, perancangan dan implementasi. pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur, wawancara dan observasi. Analisis dan Perancangan dilakukan dengan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang diilustrasikan dalam bentuk Unified Modelling Language (UML) berupa class diagram. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dengan teknik in-depth interview. Hasil pengujian model jaringan distribusi Bansos Rastra dapat diterapkan pada Perum BULOG Divre Kalbar. Secara keseluruhan, desain jaringan distribusi dapat membantu mengoptimalkan jaringan distribusi agar lebih efisien.

<div class="WordSection1"><p><strong>PT. SI is an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) of seasoning and foods corporate in Indonesia. PT. SI’s products such as MNG (Mono Natrium Glutamate), Seasoning Flour (SF), a range of condiments, coconut milk, and instant seasoning. PT SI has SF product’s selling data from 2017 until 2020. However, that data yet to be used optimally. That data could be processed further for the organization’s advantage. For example, to knowledge the trend that’s happening, and, for predicting sales value with doing some forecasting and designing DRP. Based on the calculation of the forecasting, we’re obtained the best results using Double Exponential Smoothing by Brown, whereas Mean Absolute Percentage Error’s value is the smallest between the other methods. DRP’s methods make scheduling for the demand of products for determining times and the amounts that needed, and determining plans for arriving products to anticipates sales. With the scheduling, therefore, the distributions can go smoothly and meet the needs of every distribution center. For acknowledging the amounts of trucks that we use, the sums of PORelease is divided with the trucks’ capacities which are 18 tonnages for one delivery, therefore, the delivery costs that we got are multiplied by the transport’s cost for every destination. For distribution costs, company costs are as much as Rp. 20,831,275,897 whereas with DRP method acquired the value for Rp. 17,611,094,522 margins 15,45% from company cost.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords – </em></strong><em>Distribution Requirement Planning, Forecasting, Distribution cost.</em></p></div>

Narwastu Firm is a company in Surabaya which produces traditional body care and aromatherapy. During the product distribution, this company encounters many mistakes such as inappropriateness between Purcashing Order (PO) from distributors/consumers and the goods delivered due to bullwhip effects. Therefore, this research aimed at reducing the bullwhip effects by implementing Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) method and investigating a lot sizing technique for producing minimum distribution cost by Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method in order to regulate order and plan a certain distribution activity. The research results demonstrated that the bullwhip effect values after CPFR improvement of two products that could be repaired were 1.0 for Body Scrub Goats Milk Balibloom (BSC GM BB) 200 gr and 0.96 for Body Mist Sparkling White (BM SW) 60 ml. Meanwhile, the calculations by Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method got the plans for ordering Body Scrub Lightening (BSC LIGHT) 200 gr by 182 times with total cost IDR 96,886,476 and Body Lotion Lightening (BL LIGHT) 250 ml by  235 times with total cost IDR 125,873,816.

Along with increasingly intense competition in any industry or business sector. Demand companies to use methods in order to win the competition. One of them is by doing fast distribution. PT Sekeluarga is one of the companies that distribution of LPG. PT Sekeluarga still has problems such as the inability to distribute goods according to demand, causing a break in the distribution chain and causing scarcity of LPG that occurs at the lowest distribution level or the community. The study was conducted using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method in addition to that there are also Lot size calculations with Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), safety stock calculations, and forecasting. The Total Cost (TC) using the company method is Rp. 14,563,117.00. while the Total Cost (TC) using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method is Rp. 11,676,354.17. From the results of the Total Cost comparison it is found that the Total Cost with the Distribution Requirement Planning method is cheaper when compared to the company method. And by using the Distribution Requirement Planning method also obtained an efficiency of 19.82%.

PT. Bina Usaha Bersama Sehati merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distributor ice cream walls. Produknya terdiri dari beragam macam rasa dan varian. Dalam hal ini Perusahaan telah mendapat kepercayaan untuk mendistribusikan produknya langsung ke outlet yang ada di kota Lhokseumawe dan kota bireuen. Distribusi yang dilakukan perusahaan didasarkan atas penjualan distributor sebagai warehouse sebanyak rata-rata 9300 box (perbulan), sedangkan perusahaan menerima 11.000 box dari medan. Hal tersebut terlihat bahwa penjualan untuk semua jenis produk kurang terkontrol. Perusahaan belum memiliki suatu perencanaan yang terjadwal pada aktivitas distribusi produk, sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya penumpukan persediaan produk yang terdapat di gudang perusahaan. data penjualan dilakukan dengan hasil perhitungan peramalan permintaan produk oleh perusahaan untuk kota Lhokseumawe 79005 box dan bireun 83659 box, dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan distribusi produk dengan menggunakan metode Distribution Requirement Planning( DRP). Perencanaan penjadwalan distribusi produk ice wall’s dengan kapasitas penjualan merupakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dimana dengan metode DRP diperoleh total biaya sebesar Rp. 6.064.193 terlihat adanya penurunan sebesar 5% dari perhitungan yang dilakukan perusahaan sebelumnya sebesar Rp. 12.060.000,-. Perencanaan penjadwalan distribusi disesuaikan berdasarkan hasil dari penjualan quantity, reorder point dan safety stcok dan setiap distribution centre yaitu distribution centre Lhokseumawe dan distribution centre Bireuen.

PT. Sinar Sosro Deli Serdang adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengolahan minuman. PT. Sinar Sosro memproduksi 25 jenis produk minuman antara lain Teh Botol Sosro, Fruit Tea dan S-Tee dalam berbagai varian rasa dan kemasan. Penentuan pengiriman ke Distribusi Center (DC) umumnya dilakukan berdasarkan pada taksiran pengalaman ataupun permintaan langsung oleh DC tanpa memperhatikan jumlah stock dan ketersediaan sumber daya yang lain seperti transportasi dan biaya. Dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan perusahaan maka dilakukan penelitian untuk memperkirakan permintaan Distribusi Center, distribusi produk dengan menggunakan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP), dan saving matrix. Ketiga metode ini digunakan dengan tujuan untuk pemghematan biaya distribusi dalam proses pengiriman menuju Distribution Center. Biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan adalah sebesar Rp.18.239.683,20 sedangkan dengan menggunakan metode DRP biaya yang dikeluarkan adalah sebesar Rp 14.319.564. Penerapan metode ini dapat menghasilkan efisiensi biaya sebesar 31,79%. Adapun jarak awal yang ditempuh oleh perusahaan adalah 214,2 km, sedangkan rute usulan dengan menggunakan metode saving matrix 146,1 km. Penerapan rute usulan ini dapat menghasilkan efisiensi jarak sebesar 31,79%.


The purpose of this research to provide a method of Distribution Requirement Planning on the form of CV. Usaha Milla Gesit’s rice to efficient the cost of the material distribution. This type of research is descriptive research with a time horizon that use cross-sectional for data collection .The technique of data collection during this research is directly interviewing company’s oprational manager. The data that acquired processed with Distribution Requirement Planning and then compared with the results of company’s conventional system. From the results of the comparison Distribution Requirement Planning can be efficient the cost of rice distribution as many as 26.76 %. With this proves Distribution Requirement Planning can efficient distribution total cost, Forecasting aims to know the period from March 2018 - February 2019 and manage it with Distribution Requirement Planning to know distribution total cost from March 2018 - February 2019.
