Wind energy is an important alternative energy resource because of it clean, does not cause pollution and it can be used as replacement of a fossil fuel energy. Utilization of the wind energy, the wind speed data has to be analyzed to make sure before use it. In this article is to present the wind speed data analysis by using Weibull distribution method. Wind speed data from the meteorological station at Pakchong district, Nakhonratchasima province, Thailand was used as the case study. The results show that this area has wind speed about 2.5 to 3.5 m/s. The average wind power density was 17.513 W/m2 and the total wind energy was 153.9819 kW·hr/m2 per year. This wind potential of this area can be used for water pumping and electricity generating for use in a household.

Currently, the emissions discharged by ships are becoming more and more serious, which brings a great harm to the atmospheric and marine environment. In order to solve the emissions, especially of CO2 emission, the new ship energy efficiency design index (EEDI) has been introduced to reduce it. According to EEDI calculation formula, the use of new energy technology can reduce marine EEDI. Nowadays, wind energy as a clean and renewable energy, is an ideal alternative energy to be applied on ships. But until now, there is still no definite calculation formula and value regulation to parameters involved in the application of new energy on ships, including new energy utilization coefficient.

The wind power is the important complement to fossil fuels usage, bears the advantages of clean, green and renewable. The state has determined to develop the regions locating along the interior coast in Jiangsu province, and the exploitation of wind energy is a key constituent. Wind in these regions has the peculiar properties which affect the wind energy utilization, in the paper the simulation of wind farm in coast region is investigated, one virtual reality system is constructed which involves the representation of sea by level of detail, and representation the hydrogen generation by particle filter. The virtual reality system is able to serve as the platform of wind farm construction, wind energy productivity predication, and the engineering test.
