The problem of evaluation of decisions is considered, which evaluation consists in selecting from the set of possible decisions those that meet the decision-maker's preferences. The added value of solving this problem lies in the reduction of the number of decisions one can choose. Evaluation of decisions is based on their complete characteristics, rather than on a pre-defined quality indicator. The basis for the quality assessment are given pattern examples of decisions made. These are decisions that the decision maker has found to be exemplary or acceptable. They are used as defining his preferences. The methods proposed in this article concern the ordering and clustering of decisions based on their characteristics. The set of decisions selected by an algorithm is interpreted as recommended for the decision maker. Presented solu-tions can find a variety of applications, for example in investment planning, routing, diagnostics or searching through multimedia databases.

In 2011, Statistics Austria carried out the first register-based census. The use of administrative data for statistical purposes is accompanied by various advantages like a reduced burden for the respondents and less costs for the NSI. However, new challenges, like the quality assessment of this kind of data, arise. Therefore, Statistics Austria developed a comprehensive standardized framework for the evaluation of the data quality for registerbased statistics. In this paper, we present the principle of the quality framework and detailed results from the quality evaluation of the 2011 Austrian census. For each attribute in the census a quality measure is derived from four hyperdimensions. The first three hyperdimensions focus on the documentation of data, the usability of the records and the comparison of data to an external source. The fourth hyperdimension assesses the quality of the imputations. In the framework all the available information on each attribute can be combined to form one final quality indicator. This procedure allows to track changes in quality during data processing and to compare the quality of different census generations.

Videogames have become educational, communicative and social tools among the youngest, favouring the acquisition of skills, abilities and values, encompassing an endless number of themes, and help to experience and to face, in the first person, a great diversity of environmental situations and ecology problems. Thus, the present article aims: a) the evaluation of a sample of 20 educational videogames about water, making use of some empirical criteria of quality; and b) the design, validation and application of an integrate quality indicator of educational videogames on water, based on the aspects of narrative, gameplay and didactics to that sample, which allows us to obtain a ranking. The findings reflect a ranking of games allows to suggest that the nature of the game (simulation, adventures, platforms or questions) does not determine the quality of the game, although generally simulations and adventure games are placed in a range of medium or high quality, as well as those games that pursue objectives related to the design and management of a territory in a sustainable way. The paper provides teachers with quality criteria based on narrative and gameplay that complement and enriches the pedagogical dimension.

Introduction. A library of reusable information models of capital construction facilities (CCF), having different functional profiles, is to be established within the framework of the future institute of standardized design. The quality of these models determines the quality of the project documentation, which influences the quality of construction facilities. When the focus is placed on standardized design, the introduction of an assessment system turns all the more relevant, since the quality of one project will pre-determine the quality of numerous construction facilities built from one single design. Presently, the criteria, that determine the economically efficient reusability of the project documentation, are rather biased, and they need qualitative and quantitative assessment parameters. The purpose of this research is to develop a methodology for the comprehensive quality assessment of the project documentation and its approval as the documentation designated for economically efficient reuse. The attainment of this purpose requires the accomplishment of the following objectives: transformation and formalization of the requirements applicable to the assessment of the economic efficiency of the project documentation; identification of the relationship between the quality and economic efficiency of the project documentation; issuance of draft quality assessment criteria. Materials and methods. The quality of the project documentation is assessed with the help of an integrated quality indicator, based on a set of criteria and their weight coefficients. The expert evaluation method is used to identify the weight coefficients. Results. The case of a capital construction facility (a school building) was used to present the quality assessment criteria applicable to the project documentation. Three groups of quality indicators were considered. The expert evaluation method was applied to identify the weight coefficients for each criterion, and the quality assessment methodology was proposed. The methodology entails the calculation of a quality indicator, whose value serves as the basis for a decision to enter the project into the register of standardized projects. Conclusions. The co-authors have confirmed the need to transform and formalize the requirements applied to the assessment of the economic efficiency of the project documentation. They have proven that the multi-criterial project selection procedure will make the process of the project documentation quality assessment multilateral and less biased.
