Objectives: Several factors have changed interactions between people, animals, plants, and the environment – renewing the relevance of the One Health surveillance system in the fight against zoonotic diseases such as COVID-19. Therefore, this study aimed to explore barriers to implementing an integrated One Health surveillance system in Palestine. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted from April 2020 until August 2020. Data were collected using semi-structured interview guides. Seven key stakeholders were interviewed during data collection. A thematic analysis was performed. Results: Four overarching themes emerged explaining barriers to integrated implementation of the One Health surveillance system. They are lack of policy coherence, limited financial resources, poor governance and leadership, and lack of One Health training programmes. Conclusion: Improved understanding of the transmission and effective control (including One Health approach) of zoonotic disease and better governance and leadership are critical in the diseases that threaten public health, such as the COVID-19.

Contemporary Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ+) youth are identifying and communicating their identities earlier in childhood than generations before as a result of more awareness and more acceptance of gender identity and sexual minorities by society. A qualitative study of U.S. 4-H program leaders and Extension directors generated an emergent theme around the importance of serving LGBT youth and the resulting implementation challenges. The administrators of 4-H, the largest youth serving organization in the country, recognize the presence of LGBTQ+ youth in 4-H and believe the organization must be inclusive. But challenges remain in ensuring youth experience inclusion at all levels of the organization and to manage political and societal pressures resulting from shifting focus friction.

Background: Gynecological cancer is an unfortunate event. Due to cultural and social constraints, there is insufficient information as to the challenges of Iranian women with this cancer. Objectives: The aim of this study was explaining the marital life challenges of patients with gynecological cancer. Methods: A qualitative study was performed through semi-structured and face-to-face interviews, and the data was analyzed through conventional content analysis. The participants included 16 women with gynecological cancer referred to three medical centers in Mashhad, Iran. Results: By analyzing the data, three categories were obtained :1) concerns about losing their position in marital life (forcing to stop sexual intercourse, increasing the burden of life on the spouse and reducing the patient's presence in marital life), 2) effect of the disease on sexual relations (deterioration of intimacy, unpleasant experiences during sexual intercourse and the occurrence of gradual sexual frigidity), and 3) concerns about the possibility of divorce and separation (being out of favor with husband and marital conflicts). Conclusions: Women with gynecological cancer face numerous challenges. It is necessary to inform nurses and physicians about this issue to increase their understanding of these women's problems. Also, holding educational classes and counseling sessions along with medical treatment for patients can play an essential role in promoting the health of these women in various dimensions.
