Ovarian hemangiomas are uncommon benign vascular tumors of ovary. Most of them are asymptomatic and detected incidentally during surgery. Authors report a case of 41 years female, parity 2; with complain of lower abdominal pain for 6 months. Ultrasonography showed a cystic lesion at right adnexa with a heterogeneously echogenic component within and devoid of internal vascularity. Laparoscopic right adnexal cystectomy was done, which on histopathological examination demonstrated features of cavernous hemangioma replacing the ovarian parenchyma. As surgical excision is treatment of choice, correct diagnosis is essential to avoid unnecessary radical surgery and treatment.

Hematospermia is a clinical symptom that raises anxiety in patients and has various causes, benign and malignant. We report a case of hematospermia for which appropriate multidisciplinary expertise favored a conservative management of a benign prostatic cyst, namely, a prostatic utricle cyst. A cystic lesion found by transrectal ultrasound in the context of hematospermia related to masturbation in a young virgin male patient was investigated with a high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and an endorectal coil. The association of high-field MRI and endorectal coil leads to high quality images.

Hydrosalphinx is the fallopian tubes getting filled with fluid due to their blockage. It usually occurs with obstruction of fallopian tubes after infection in women of sexually active age. The aim of this article is to draw attention to hydrosalpinx in adolescent girls because of two adolescent cases. First case; a cystic lesion of 38x51x76 mm in the right adnexal region was detected in the lower abdominal magnetic resonance imaging of a 13-year-old girl who presented with the complaint of abdominal pain and vomiting. Right tubal torsion and hydrosalpinx were detected during abdominal exploration. The tube was detorsioned and marsupialization was applied to the hydrosalpinx. Second case; a cystic lesion with dimensions of 24x12x35 cm was detected in the abdominal ultrasonography of a 16-year-old girl who presented with the complaint of abdominal pain and a palpable mass. On abdominal exploration, a right hydrosalpinx filling the entire abdomen was detected. Tubal excision was performed. Both cases have not been undergone any intraabdominal surgery previously. Hydrosalpinx is very rare in adolescent girls. Hydrosalpinx also should be considered in lower abdominal pain. Cases should be examined in terms of preventing infertility problems in future carefully, development of adhesion should be curtailed and parents should be informed in detail.

Prostatic utricle cyst is one of the uncommon conditions and only a few cases have been reported. We present a case of unusually large prostatic utricle cyst in a 13- year- old male. He presented with burning urination and post-void dribbling of urine. A cystic mass was felt on digital per rectal examination. Ultrasound pelvis revealed a well-defined midline cystic mass posterior to the urinary bladder. Subsequent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the pelvis demonstrated fluid containing cystic lesion communicating with posterior urethra. Surgical resection of the cyst was performed through the posterior sagittal approach. Follow up of the patient after three months of operation, there was complete resolution of the symptoms. The authors describe a case of a retroperitoneal bronchogenic cyst in a 36-year-old female. She presented with abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. An MRI scan revealed an 8 cm cystic lesion in the left upper retroperitoneum, with intermediate signal on T2-weighted images, high signal on T1 weighted images, and lack of internal enhancement after gadolinium. After laparoscopic excision, the histology findings were compatible with a bronchogenic cyst, which is extremely uncommon in the retroperitoneum.

70-year-old woman with 20-lb weight loss over the past 6 months and crampy lower abdominal pain Axial fat-suppressed FSE T2-weighted images (Figure 9.20.1) and postgadolinium axial (Figure 9.20.2) and sagittal (Figure 9.20.3) 3D SPGR images demonstrate a large, heterogeneously enhancing mass in the pelvis, with markedly increased T2-signal intensity and multiple cystic regions on postcontrast images. The origin of the lesion from the sigmoid colon is difficult to discern, but it is probably best appreciated on the axial postgadolinium images. Note the invasion of the bladder dome, with a gas pocket in the anterior bladder....

Prostatic utricle cysts with calculus and hypospadias are rare in clinical practice. According to our literature review, only few cases have been reported. Recently, we experienced a case of prostatic utricle cyst with huge calculus in a 25-year-old male patient. He had a history of left cryptorchidism and surgery for penoscrotal hypospadias in his infancy. He was referred for frequent micturition, urgency of urination, urine pain, terminal hematuria and dysuria. Computed tomography (CT) revealed a retrovesical cystic lesion of low density, in which a 5×5 cm calcification was shown. Retrograde urethrocystography showed a 5×5 cm high-density shadow in the posterior urethra. The cyst was incised by transperineal approach and the stone was clearly observed and removed. Urethral stricture repair was performed simultaneously. The patient recovered smoothly after operation.
