This article is a joint development of ways to improve the efficiency of business processes of energy use, taking into account innovative development and modernization of the economy in modern conditions. The energy industry is regarded as a leader in introducing innovations among other industries. The solutions are proposed to reduce energy consumption using advanced technologies. The features of energy supply to consumers in difficult conditions of economic, technical and climatic nature are identified, provided that large systems with a high level of complexity of system interconnection are integrated. The necessity of restructuring the entire global electric power network of the Russian Federation on the principles of multifunctional automation is substantiated. The main focus is on the use of “smart home” technology. This technology is considered as one of the most promising areas for the economical use of energy. The use of Smart Grid and Smart Home technologies significantly improves the efficiency of business processes using different types of energy, which allows planning plan energy consumption more accurately. The studies have shown that the use of innovative technologies can save up to a third of the energy consumed, but the population has no significant motivation to plan and save energy, which negatively affects the mass introduction of these technologies. However, there is a positive trend in the use of Smart Grid and Smart Home technologies in optimizing the management of business processes by business structures, for example, in optimizing security tools, managing household engineering systems, etc.

Internet of Things (IoT) is a combination of hardware and software technology that produces trillions of data by connecting multiple devices and sensors with the cloud and computing and accessing the required data through intelligent means of connecting and utilizing various tools. With numerous connected devices and appliances, the smart home is one of the emphasized areas of IoT. Smart home concept deals with inter connecting the working of multiple devices using IoT. In view of this, multiple home appliances are operated using the common remote controller access. When IoT devices are meant to operate based on remote control there is an immense role of identifying the state dependencies of various devices. If one device is in ON state, then it will show the status of other devices also whether to be in ON state or OFF state or choice of none of devices to be in state of ON or OFF. Till now, state dependencies of devices in home appliances are manually identified. Therefore, in order to control devices of home appliances with in a precise location, a design issue based on identification of state dependencies by using graph matrices for multiple devices can be made for better utilization to save energy and also to restrict the unnecessary access of devices.

Technological advances have improved the functionality of smart home systems and services, enabling consumers to automate some of in-home tasks, enhance their safety and security, and save energy. Despite improved functionality, user adoption of many available products and services remains low. This phenomenon suggests that smart home technologies may not be meeting the needs of potential users. Furthermore, continued technological advancement combined with changes in people’s lifestyle and attitudes towards in-home technologies require updated investigations to gain a clear view of current user needs. This study presents findings from a set of semi-structured interviews and card-sorting activities with eleven participants from different socio-demographic backgrounds, with a focus on describing ten challenges commonly experienced in the home environment. Possible technological solutions are discussed from the existing unmet needs within the scope of smart and connected homes.

With the great development in all areas of our lives, especially communications and electronics, which is the basic component of any service or industry. By exploiting this development and incorporating it into our daily lives and in the tools we use, our lives are gradually transformed into easier and more choices. This project is an example of Exploitation of technologies in a way that serves the need of human security and safety. By sing the available communication and electronics technologies, it is possible to modify and improve homes to be safer and safer (Vermesan et al., 2017). The idea of the project is to connect all parts and appliances to a system that allows them to communicate with each other in the first place and on the other hand allows the user to control them remotely and monitor all the developments and notifications of each system and this called IOT system (Lobaccaro, Carlucci, & Löfström, 2016).  The application of this type of system is possible to control all the food of the house and identify everything from the security system to the lighting system and air conditioning. For example, the domestic fire system, in the new system is able to identify all types of gases and evaluate the appropriate solution to get rid of gas and avoid danger and inform the owner of accurate information. Unlike the old system, which triggers the alarm in all halal and does not recognize many of the deadly gases that may kill everyone in the house. Determine the cause of the problem. The system can communicate with all parts of the house, get rid of the risk causes, and avoid all risks. As well as the system for all other devices, it is possible to save energy as the work of the devices depends on the sensors of the need to work (Díaz, Martín, & Rubio, 2016). Overall, the system consists of smart sensors for every part of the house that recognize everything and monitor all changes and risks around the clock.
