Assignments are effective means to assess students’ learning results. Students can consolidate their knowledge through school assignments and use their knowledge to solve problems. Assignments include in-class assignments and after-class assignments. In-class assignments are not only a basic component of classroom teaching, but also assessment of students’ mastery of knowledge. After-class assignments are complementary to students’ classroom learning and of equal value to in-class assignments. At basic education levels, proper assignmentloads are necessary. Students’ learning lacks assessment without assignments; Learning without assessment is unacceptable and even brings disastrous consequences (Bai, 2010).

The issue of preschool children’s creativity formation by means of game and art materials with magic-effect isconsidered in the paper. It has been found that, in the current conditions of globalization, the child starting from their first year is surrounded by an environment filled with various processes, problems, changes, and transformations. It highlights the need and importance of creativity formation starting from preschool age. The modern information society places high demands on the competence of the younger generation and actively influences its formation. The paper provides a brief analysis of the regulatory framework on this issue. It has been found that the Law of Ukraine on Preschool Education (2021), the Basic Component of Preschool Education (2021), complex and partial programs proclaim creativity formation as a key quality of personality starting from preschool childhood. It has been found that a number of Ukrainian scientists dedicate their scientific and pedagogical research to the essence of the categories ‘creativity,’ ‘older preschool children’s creativity.’The article identifies and characterizes the creative potential of the modern game and art material with magiceffect (light boards, markers, and luminous paints). Educators of preschool educational institutions are offered to use game methods and techniques with preschool children.

As automation is changing everything in today’s world, there is an urgent need for artificial intelligence, the basic component of today’s automation and innovation to have standards for software engineering for analysis and design before it is synthesized to avoid disaster. Artificial intelligence software can make development costs and time easier for programmers. There is a probability that society may reject artificial intelligence unless a trustworthy standard in software engineering is created to make them safe. For society to have more confidence in artificial intelligence applications or systems, researchers and practitioners in computing industry need to work not only on the cross-section of artificial intelligence and software engineering, but also on software theory that can serve as a universal framework for software development, most especially in artificial intelligence systems. This paper seeks to(a) encourage the development of standards in artificial intelligence that will immensely contribute to the development of software engineering industry considering the fact that artificial intelligence is one of the leading technologies driving innovation worldwide (b) Propose the need for professional bodies from philosophy, law, medicine, engineering, government, international community (such as NATO, UN), and science and technology bodies to develop a standardized framework on how AI can work in the future that can guarantee safety to the public among others. These standards will boost public confidence and guarantee acceptance of artificial intelligence applications or systems by both the end-users and the general public.

The taxonomic and ecological structure of an artificial set of species of spontaneous flora of the local landscape Feofaniya, distinguished by decorative features, is presented. Decorative perennials, with the exception of aquatic and coastal ones, number 147 species. They are considered taking into account the adaptive characteristics, as a potentially basic component of the regional assortment of ornamental plants for landscaping. In terms of taxonomic composition, the species belong to 100 genera from 38 families. A significant part of perennials is rare in ornamental gardening. Among the studied perennials, the rare fraction includes 13 species with international (four species), state (seven species), or regional (six species) conservation status. According to the results of bioecological analysis, the predominance of mesophytic (76 %), heliophytic (44 %), mesotrophic (82 %), and neutrophilic (65 %) species is shown. When considering the ecological affiliation, the studied species are united into 15 principal ecomorphological groups. The use of plants represented in such groups as the main assortment in the landscaping of the corresponding ecotopes is a prerequisite for the stability and durability of such artificial communities as flower arrangements. The proposed assortment ensures the creation of modern low-cost flower arrangements, as well as the preservation of the biodiversity of the local flora by expanding the cultigen range of these species.

The present research is related to one of the basic component of the environment – waters with study area the Ogosta river catchment. It is based on the investigation of water samples collected during field research in the river monitoring area and laboratory analysis. The research is focused on the state of the pollution and quality of the water. The results can be used in the processes of environmental optimization and realization of the strategies for sustainable development in the region.

Abstract Nutrients are needed for the growth of phytoplankton as a basic component in the marine food web. The concentration of nutrients in waters relates to primary productivity and it will influence fisheries stocks. So far, research on nutrients in the deep sea is rarely carried out in Indonesia. This study aims to determine water quality, horizontal and vertical distribution of nutrients in eastern Indonesian waters, which can be used as baseline data for deep-sea nutrients in Indonesia. The study was conducted from October 29 to November 15, 2017. Sampling was carried out in 20 stations with seven layers. Nutrient measurements were conducted based on Strickland and Parsons (1972). Our results showed that the concentrations of phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, and silicate ranged from 0.000-0.060 mg/l, 0.001-0.321 mg/l, 0.000-0.009 mg/l, 0.004-0.024 mg/l and 0.085-1.090 mg/l, respectively. In general, the highest concentration of nutrients was found in Maluku Sea. The vertical distribution of nitrate, phosphate, and silicate shows that the increasing concentrations as increasing depth, except for nitrite and ammonium. The maximum nitrite concentration appears in the northern area, while the ammonium distribution has homogenous pattern.

Modern multi-site database applications are not only time-driven but also require efficient quality of services with no single-node failure. It might be ideally achieved using database replication techniques. The transactions, being a basic component of these applications, are more likely to miss their deadlines because of requiring unpredictably long time to access remote data items. The temporal validity of data is another issue requiring attention to be paid. To address these problems, a Cluster-Replicas with Efficient Distributed Lazy Update (CRED) protocol is proposed in this paper. The CRED protocol increases the chance of timely execution of transactions and data freshness in an unpredictable workload environment by utilizing the lazy replica update strategy. It reduces the negative impact of the burst workload with a marginal overhead of ensuring timely-updated replicas. The simulation results confirm that the CRED outperforms the ORDER protocol by up to 4%.

Image inpainting aims to fill in corrupted regions with visually realistic and semantically plausible contents. In this paper, we propose a progressive image inpainting method, which is based on a forked-then-fused decoder network. A unit called PC-RN, which is the combination of partial convolution and region normalization, serves as the basic component to construct inpainting network. The PC-RN unit can extract useful features from the valid surroundings and can suppress incompleteness-caused interference at the same time. The forked-then-fused decoder network consists of a local reception branch, a long-range attention branch, and a squeeze-and-excitation-based fusing module. Two multi-scale contextual attention modules are deployed into the long-range attention branch for adaptively borrowing features from distant spatial positions. Progressive inpainting strategy allows the attention modules to use the previously filled region to reduce the risk of allocating wrong attention. We conduct extensive experiments on three benchmark databases: Places2, Paris StreetView, and CelebA. Qualitative and quantitative results show that the proposed inpainting model is superior to state-of-the-art works. Moreover, we perform ablation studies to reveal the functionality of each module for the image inpainting task.

In extreme (crisis) situations, tasks arise, requiring an answer to the question of the effectiveness of decisions made. When using radio technicians of special purpose, the results depend on both the ability of the equipment and its condition and from the service personnel. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the presence of targeted interfering factors. The paper proposed a method for evaluating the operation of radio equipment for special purpose in extreme (crisis) situations, a distinguishing feature of which is to account for the mutual influence of the components of the system. The evolution of the basic component of operation is proposed to approximate polynomial dependence using a fuzzy logic apparatus when making resulting solutions.
