The performance of the aluminum alloy makes it the most popular lightweight materials for the automobile manufacturers. However, due to the disparity on the crystal structure,it has the higher springback values compared with steel. In order to solve the problem, we put forward a new springback compensation method based on displacement compensation principle and the principle of curved surface fairing design methods. Though full cycle simulation and calculate springback value for each working procedure, then generate the springback compensation surface. The methods practical application effect is good.

We apply Bogoliubov compensation principle to the gauge electroweak interaction. The nontrivial solution of compensation equations for anomalous three-boson gauge invariant effective interaction uniquely defines its form-factor and parameters of the theory including value of gauge electroweak coupling [Formula: see text] in satisfactory agreement with the experimental value. A possibility of spontaneous generation of effective four-fermion interaction of heavy quarks is demonstrated. This interaction defines an equation for a scalar bound state of heavy quarks which serve as a substitute for the elementary scalar Higgs doublet. As a result we calculate the t-quark mass mt = 177 GeV in satisfactory agreement with the experimental value. The results strongly support idea of [Formula: see text] condensate as a source of the electroweak symmetry breaking. The approach predicts heavy composite Higgs scalar MH ≃ 1800 GeV .

As discussed by John Locke, Joseph Butler, and Thomas Reid, prudence involves a special concern for the agent’s own personal good that she does not have for others. This should be a concern for the agent’s overall good that is temporally neutral and involves an equal concern for all parts of her life. In this way, prudence involves a combination of agent relativity and temporal neutrality. This asymmetrical treatment of matters of interpersonal and intertemporal distribution might seem arbitrary. Henry Sidgwick raised this worry, and Thomas Nagel and Derek Parfit have endorsed it as reflecting the instability of prudence and related doctrines such as egoism and the self-interest theory. However, Sidgwick thought that the worry was unanswerable only for skeptics about personal identity, such as David Hume. Sidgwick thought that one could defend prudence by appeal to realism about personal identity and a compensation principle. This is one way in which special concern and prudence presuppose personal identity. However, as Jennifer Whiting has argued, special concern displayed in positive affective regard for one’s future and personal planning and investment is arguably partly constitutive of personal identity, at least on a plausible psychological reductionist conception of personal identity. After explaining both conceptions of the relation between special concern and personal identity, the chapter concludes by exploring what might seem to be the paradoxical character of conjoining them, suggesting that there may be no explanatory priority between the concepts of special concern and personal identity.

All over the world, probability-based flood protection designs are the ones most commonly used. Different return-period design floods are standard criteria for designing structural measures. Recently, risk-based flood management has received a significant appraisal, but the fixed return period is still the de facto standard for flood management designs due to the absence of a robust framework for risk-based flood management. The objective of this paper is to discuss the economics and criteria of project appraisal, as well as to recommend the most suitable approach for a risk-based project feasibility evaluation. When it comes to flood management, decision-makers, who are generally politicians, have to prioritize the allocation of resources to different civic welfare projects. This research provides a connection between engineering, economics, and management. Taking account of socioeconomic and environmental constraints, several measures can be employed in a floodplain. The Kaldor–Hicks compensation principle provides the basis for a risk-based feasibility analysis. Floods should be managed in a way that reduces the damage from minimum investments to ensure maximum output from floodplain land use. Specifically, marginal losses due to flood damage and the expense of flood management must be minimized. This point of minimum expenses is known as the “optimum risk point” or “optimal state”. This optimal state can be estimated using a risk-based assessment. Internal rate of return, net present value, and benefit–cost ratio are indicators that describe the feasibility of a project. However, considering expected annual damage is strongly recommended for flood management to ensure a simultaneous envisage of the performance of land-use practices and flood measures. Flood management ratios can be used to describe the current ratio of expected annual damage to the expected annual damage at the optimal risk point. Further development of the approach may replace probability-based standards at the national level.

Based upon the optical coherence superposition principle, a system to acquire light transmitted by a single-multimode fiber has been built. By collecting the optical interference images and using MATLAB software for analysis, the target light transmitted by a single-multimode optical fiber can be extracted from it. Thus, the transmission characteristics of light in a single-multimode optical fiber can be obtained, aiming to realize the direct transmission imaging through the multimode optical fiber by the compensation principle according to the change of phase in the transmission process and to provide technical support for the development of medical examination and medical devices in China.

At first, this paper compared the present some advantages and disadvantages of reactive power compensation devices, and analysis the disadvantages of these devices in practical application deficiencies, then put forward a new kind of reactive power compensation principle. With the development of power electronic devices, this paper put forward a new type of reactive power compensation which based on RB-IGBT of SVC mode, synthesize the advantages of domestic reactive power compensation devices at present, and the prospect of application is very good.
