Cascade Speed Regulation System has the nonlinear characteristics and whose structure parameters are variable easily. Fuzzy control theory which based on conventional Cascade Speed Regulation System is introduced into such system. An asynchronous motor model is built, and a fuzzy parameter self-tuning controller is designed in this paper, the controller is simulated in Matlab, The simulation result shows the difference between the conventional PI controller and the fuzzy parameter self-tuning PI controller. From these simulation results, all performance indexes of the fuzzy PI controller with parameters self-tuning are vastly superior to those of the conventional PI controller.

This paper proposes a modeling and controller design approach for a wind-diesel hybrid system including dump load. The proposed control scheme for power quality is fuzzy PI controller which has advantages of PI and fuzzy controller. Simulation results show that the proposed controller is more effective against disturbances caused by wind speed and load variation than the PI controller, and thus it contributes to a better quality wind-diesel hybrid power system.



This paper represents the study of Fuzzy Logic Control-Based STATCOM devices to enhance the capabilities of the low voltage-ride through of a grid connected DFIG based wind farm and its comparison with conventional STATCOM device. The proposed FLC based STATCOM device have designed using MATLAB/Simulink.Compare to the output responses of the voltage, currents, speed, real power and reactive power of both stator as well as rotor of the two investigated systems during grid faults, the STATCOM with fuzzy-PI controller gives best performance with faster recovery, adjustable speed, smoother current profiles and better reliable than traditional controller
