With the extensive applications of FFT in digital signal processing and image signal processing which needs a extensive application of large-scale computing, it become more and more important to improve parallelism, especially efficient and scalable parallel of FFT algorithm. This paper improves the parallelism of the FFT algorithm based on the Six-Step FFT algorithm. The introduction of GPU to parallel computing is to realize parallel FFT computing in a single machine and to improve the speed of Frontier transform. With the optimization strategy of the mapping hiding the transport matrix, the performance of parallel FFT algorithm after optimization is remarkably promoted by the assignment of matrix calculation and butterfly computation to GPU. Finally it applies to design the digital filter in seismic data.

In today's world, the development of economy has led to the continuous development and evolution of science and technology. Computer technology and large-scale integration technology have been well developed and applied, followed by the technology of digital signal processing DSP production and application. In the field of logging, the application function of this technology plays a key role. It not only allows the imaging logging technology to be further developed, but also enables fast and accurate processing of downhole signals. Therefore, among many logging tools today, digital signal processing DSPs have been widely used, and their functions have been fully utilized. This paper analyzes the application of signal processor DSP in logging instruments. It is hoped that it can play a reference role in the good application and development of logging instruments.

Due to the explosive growth of multimedia application and tremendous demands in Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI), there is a need of high speed and low power digital filters for digital signal processing applications. In Digital Signal Processing (DSP) systems, Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters are one of the most common components which is used, by convolving the input data samples with the desired unit sample response of the filter. The proposed work deals with the design and implementation of RLS adaptive filter using block DCD approach. The evaluation of speed, area and power for proposed work will be done. Also, the comparison of the proposed design with the existing will be carried out for various input combinations.
