By constructing a multistage floating-bed system by combination of macrophytes, aquatic animals and aquamats ecobase for ecolgical restoration in a eutrophic urban river, the improvement of water quality and the dynamic variation of phytoplankton was investigated. The results showed that the average removal rates were 9.85%, 15.86%, 24.47% and 12.75%, respectively. phytoplankton quantity was decreased by 22.82×104ind./L and Shannon-Weiner Index was increased by 0.11 averagely, after the restoration work in the demonstration area comparing to control area. The negative correlation between Shannon-Weiner Index of phytoplankton and TN(-0.77, P<0.01) showed that multistage system might effect phytoplankton indirectly through removing nutrients from river, which indicated that the employment of ecological restoration technology of multistage floating-bed system was effective in raising the ecological recovery efficiency of polluted water bodies.

Introduction. The article deals with mathematical models of two main classes of processes in stochastic productive systems. For a multistage system, conditions of belonging to a “just-in-time” class or a class with infinite support of the time distribution function for productive operations are determined. Materials and Methods. Descriptions and investigations of models are carried out by trajectory (martingale) methods. For “just-in-time” systems and multistage stochastic productive systems, terms and methods of random walks in a random environment and birth and death processes are used. The results are formulated as descriptions of intensity characteristics of equalizers of point counting processes. Results. Two theorems are given and proved; they justify the proposed classification of the mathematical models of productive systems. The criteria of the belonging of the stochastic productive system to the class “just-in-time” are given. A theorem on the incompatibility of groups of “just-in-time” systems and systems infinite support of the time distribution for operations is proved. Discussion and Conclusion. The results show the feasibility of analyzing stochastic productive systems by martingale methods. The descriptions of terms of intensities of the equalizers time of productive processes admit generalization.

The concept of evaporative coolers of gases and fluids on the basis of monoblock multichannel polymeric structures is presented. Different schemes of indirect evaporative coolers, in which the natural cooling limit is the dew point of the ambient air  are discussed. In such systems the cooling temperature is lower than the wet bulb temperature of the ambient air. Special attention is paid to the recondensation of water vapor for deep evaporative cooling. It is shown that for the solution of the recondensation problem it is necessary to vary the ratio of the contacting air and water flows, particularly in each stage of the multistage system. Recommendations for the deep cooling process implementation in the evaporative coolers of gases and liquids are given.
