Antibody response to Pseudomonas aeruginosa was determined in patients with cystic fibrosis. Thirty-two patients were studied, of whom 24 harbored pseudomonas in their lungs and demonstrated the highest anti-pseudomonas serum agglutinin antibody response when compared as a group to eight CF patients without pseudomonas and 32 control subjects.
