To improve data transmission performance of the data acquisition card, a design of high-speed data transmission system is proposed in the thesis. Using FPGA of programmable logic devices, adopting Verilog HDL of hardware description language, the design of modularization and DMA transmission method is implemented in FPGA. Eventually the design implements the data transmission with high-speed through PCI Express interface. Through simulation and verification based on hardware system, this design is proved to be feasible and can satisfy the performance requirements of data transmission in the high-speed data acquisition card applied in high-speed railway communication. The design also has some value of application and reference for a universal data acquisition card.

A solution of intelligent test system for mechanical property of geotextile material which based on high speed data acquisition card PCI-1714 is introduced in this paper. Microprocessor and drive card PCI-1240 are also used to control and drive the test equipment. The article discussed in detail the system’s overall design, the hardware structure, software design, and process of data acquisition. Software is designed by Visual Basic 6.0. This paper research and implement on accurate measurement of mechanics performance of geotextile material.

Radar, aerospace and wireless communications have a lot of demand for high-speed data acquisition and storage, in these applications, there is a need to control data collection and storage remotely, so researching safe, reliable, real-time remote data recorder is very meaningful. Based on Compact PCI IPC, putting ADC and data acquisition front-end into the chassis, using a dedicated PCI bus interface chip, to transmit data via Compact PCI backplane and record data to high-speed disk array. The platform use embedded Linux operating system to control high-speed and data acquisition. Users can manage data remotely by developing the data acquisition card driver and application software.

A high-speed data acquisition card using USB 3.0 interface has been designed in order to solve the problem that traditional data acquisition card could not take both data transmission bandwidth and easy connection with PC into account. The data acquisition card controlled the dual-channel 12-bit 20Msps ADC for asynchronous parallel sampling using FPGA as core control module, which made the sampling rate up to 40Msps. The sampled data which was processed by FPGA transferred synchronous from FIFO interface to PC via USB controller. The basic structure of hardware and the basic design method for software and firmware were given in this paper, in which how to use FPGA to realize FIFO was elaborated in detail. The timing simulation of using asynchronous parallel A/D conversion technology and using ADC device of 40Msps sampling rate for FIFO internal data transmission were simulated respectively, thus verified the reliability of asynchronous parallel A/D conversion.

Quality characteristics of steel workpiece and their inspection methods are introduced, and the influencing factors of surface quality are analyzed by quality tools. A set of inspection scheme for cutting temperature and cutting force on-line monitoring is worked out. Thin film thermocouple technology was introduced to measure the dynamic temperature which affects the surface quality characteristics of steel workpieces. A system for measuring cutting temperature and cutting force has been developed. A high speed data acquisition card ADlink PCI-9118HG is used to acquire the temperature and force signals. Simple and friendly human-machine interface was programmed with the application of VC++ technology and Tchart controllor to achieve real-time data acquisition, display and analysis of cutting temperature and cutting force. It was concluded from the experiment that the data acquisition and measuring system is easy and flexible to use.

On the basis of the relevant identification theory of pseudo-random code signal, the signals of CSAMT are divided into three parts according to the frequency of the signal. The signals which are susceptible to 50Hz interference signal and its harmonic components should be set by pseudo-random code way. Others are set by single square waveform way. The Control and signal generation software of the transmitter system is built on the advanced virtual instrument platform, LabVIEW. The hardware of the transmitter system is mainly composed of host computer, data acquisition card, high-speed optocoupler, IGBT driver module and four IGBT switches. The data acquisition card generate PWM signals, the high-speed optocoupler isolates low-voltage part and high-voltage part. IGBT drive module and four IGBT switches constitute high-voltage part. Entire transmitter system is suitable for different environments and research tasks, the transmit frequency are adjustable, and the pseudo-random code signal has strong capability to suppress the interference signals. The control software on host computer is simple and clear. There is good prospect for the use.

For realizing data acquisition and transmission based on PCI bus, a device driver was designed for data acquisition card, which use TMS320DM642 of TI and it’s PCI interface as transfer protocol. And in this development, we use VC++6.0, DDK and DriverStudio3.2 to develop the PCI bus driver for Windows XP, and realizing DMA high-speed data transfer method between data acquisition card and computer RAM.
