ABSTRACT Mycoplasma pneumoniae type 2 strain FH was previously sequenced with Illumina (FH-Illumina) and 454 (FH-454) technologies according to Xiao et al. (2015) and Krishnakumar et al. (2010). Comparative analyses revealed differences in genomic content between these sequences, including a 6-kb region absent from the FH-454 submission. Here, we present a complete genome sequence of FH sequenced with the Pacific Biosciences RSII platform.

Citricoccus sp. strain SGAir0253 was isolated from indoor air collected in Singapore. Its genome sequence was assembled using single-molecule real-time sequencing. It comprises one chromosome of 3.32 Mb and two plasmids of 137 kb and 99 kb. The genome consists of 2,950 protein-coding genes, 49 tRNAs, and 9 rRNAs.

ABSTRACT Here, we report the complete genome of piscine Streptococcus agalactiae 01173 serotype Ia, which was generated using long-read sequencing technology. The bacteria were isolated from wild fish displaying signs of streptococcosis, from a fish kill incident in Kuwait.

We report a complete genome sequence of Acidithiobacillus ferridurans JAGS, determined using PacBio single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing. The circular genome of JAGS (2,933,811 bp; GC content, 58.57%) contains 3,001 protein-coding sequences, 46 tRNAs, and 6 rRNAs. Predicted genes indicate the potential to fix CO2 and N2 and to utilize Fe2+, S0, and H2 as energy sources.

ABSTRACT Bartonella alsatica causes bacteremia in rabbits and, rarely, human infections. Here, we announce the complete and closed genome of B. alsatica IBS 382 (CIP 105477), generated by long-read Pacific Biosciences single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing. The availability of this genome sequence allows future work on understanding the zoonotic potential of this pathogen.

Pantoea sp. strain CCBC3-3-1, having antagonistic activity against Verticillium dahlia, was isolated from Cotinus coggygria. We report the complete genome sequence of this strain determined by PacBio single-molecule real-time (SMRT) technology. The total genome size of CCBC3-3-1 is 5,159,767 bp, with a G+C content of 48.08%.
