ABSTRACT Here, we present the draft genome sequence of Bordetella sp. strain FB-8, a mixotrophic iron-oxidizing bacterium isolated from creek sediment in the former uranium-mining district of Ronneburg, Germany. To date, iron oxidation has not been reported in Bordetella species, indicating that FB-8 may be an environmentally important Bordetella sp.

ABSTRACT Ensifer adhaerens L18, isolated from potassium feldspar mining area soil, was found to be capable of solubilizing K from an insoluble K-bearing mineral source. Here, we report the draft genome sequence and annotation of the feldspar-solubilizing bacterium Ensifer adhaerens L18. These data provide the basis to investigate the relative impact of bacteria in feldspar solubilizing and the molecular mechanism of the potassium feldspar’s dissolution.

Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Pseudorhodobacter sp. strain E13, a Gram-negative, aerobic, nonflagellated, and rod-shaped bacterium which was isolated from the Yellow Sea in South Korea. The assembled genome sequence is 3,878,578 bp long with 3,646 protein-coding sequences in 159 contigs.

ABSTRACT The draft genome sequence of Saccharomonospora sp. strain LRS4.154, a moderately halophilic actinobacterium, has been determined. The genome has 4,860,108 bp, a G+C content of 71.0%, and 4,525 open reading frames (ORFs). The clusters of PKS and NRPS genes, responsible for the biosynthesis of a large number of biomolecules, were identified in the genome.
