Ureibacillus terrenus TH9A T (=ATCC BAA-384 T ) was isolated from uncultivated soil in Italy in 1995. We present a draft genome sequence for the type strain, with a predicted genome length of 2,936,851 bp, containing 2,766 protein-coding genes, 82 RNA genes, and 5 CRISPR arrays, with a G+C content of 42.5%.

ABSTRACT Here, we describe the draft genome sequence of Bacillus velezensis strain X-BIO-1, which contains 16 contigs, comprising 3,861,135 bp with a G+C content of 46.54%. The annotated draft genome contains 3,710 protein-coding genes and 62 RNA genes. We identified genes responsible for the synthesis of various antibiotics.

In 2007, Salirhabdus euzebyi was first described as a bacterial isolate from a sea salt evaporation pond. As no genome sequence was previously available for this species, we performed whole-genome sequencing. The chromosome of strain Q1438 was 3,784,443 bp long with 36% G+C content, 3,830 protein-coding genes, and 74 RNA genes.

Here, we present the complete genome sequence of a Bifidobacterium longum isolate, that of strain ZJ1, and this strain showed a cholesterol degradation ability that is greater than that of five strains we chose for comparison (Bifidobacterium longum 536, B. infantis 1912, B. longum 1941, B. breve ATCC 15698, B. infantis ATCC 17930). The draft genome of strain ZJ1 consists of 2,414,672 bp, with 2,042 protein-coding genes, 69 noncoding RNA genes, and 60.16% G+C content.

ABSTRACT Reported herein is the draft genome sequence of equine-origin Lawsonia intracellularis strain E40504, an obligate intracellular bacterium and the etiological agent of equine proliferative enteropathy. The 1.69-Mb draft genome sequence includes 1,380 protein-coding genes and 49 RNA genes, and it lacks a genomic island reported in swine-origin L. intracellularis strain PHE/MN1-00.
