This report describes the draft genome sequence of S. condimenti strain F-2 T (DSM 11674), a potential starter culture. The genome assembly comprised 2,616,174 bp with 34.6% GC content. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first documentation that reports the whole-genome sequence of S. condimenti.

ABSTRACT Acholeplasma laidlawii can be isolated from cattle environments and different body sites of bovines. It is still under evaluation if A. laidlawii acts as a primary pathogen. Here, we present the whole-genome sequence of A. laidlawii isolated from the conjunctiva of a heifer with infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis.

Here, we report the draft whole-genome sequence of Streptococcus suis strain S10, isolated from the tonsils of a healthy pig. S. suis S10 belongs to the highly virulent serotype 2, which includes isolates that cause infectious diseases, including meningitis, in pigs and human.

ABSTRACT Megasphaera elsdenii has been previously reported in the gut of ruminating animals. Its role as an animal probiotic is being investigated, specifically from the perspective of enhancing animal productivity. Herein, we report the draft genome sequence of M. elsdenii strain indica isolated from the stool sample of a healthy Indian subject.

A DNase-producing Bacillus pacificus strain was isolated, and the whole-genome sequence is reported in this paper. The draft genome sequence of Bacillus pacificus KVCMST-8A-12 constitutes 2.4 Gbp of raw reads, with a GC content of 35.24%. In total, 5,661 protein-coding genes, 64 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes were predicted.

Lactiplantibacillus pentosus AWA1501 was isolated from the traditional Japanese tea Awa-bancha. Previous studies have reported that this species becomes predominant after the anaerobic fermentation process. In this study, we report the whole-genome sequence of this strain. The draft genome sequence comprises 3,714,221 nucleotides and 3,374 coding DNA sequences, with an average G+C content of 46.02%.

ABSTRACT The isolation of novel microbes from environmental samples continues to be a key strategy for the discovery of new metabolic capacities for the degradation and transformation of lignocellulose. We report the draft genome sequence of a new strain of Brevibacillus borstelensis isolated from a sorghum-adapted microbial community derived from a compost sample.

ABSTRACT We report the draft whole-genome sequence of Rothia nasimurium isolated from a porcine tonsil. The genome encodes a nonribosomal peptide synthetase predicted to produce valinomycin, a cyclic dodecadepsipeptide ionophore. Previously, valinomycin was known to be produced only by Streptomyces species and isolates belonging to the Bacillus pumilus group.
