Potential discovery, observation and exclusion limits of excited [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] quarks with gamma[Formula: see text]jet final state are researched at the multi-TeV scale colliders, FCC and S[Formula: see text]C in this paper. Both colliders, FCC and S[Formula: see text]C, show that excited [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] quarks could be discovered up to 42.1 TeV and 55.2 TeV for [Formula: see text], 30.3 TeV and 39.4 TeV for [Formula: see text] and 42.3 TeV and 55.5 TeV mass values for degenerate case [Formula: see text], respectively. The determination of the excited quarks compositeness scale is examined, which will be up to multi-PeV level. Besides these analyses, free parameters ([Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]) are scanned from around 0.1 up to 1 that show excited quark could be discovered at dozens of TeV with even coupling constants under 0.1.

Abstract The LHCb Collaboration recently reported the observation of a new excited bottom baryon Ξb(6227)0 and announced an improvement in the measurements related to the previously observed Ξb(6227)− state. We conduct an analysis for Ξb(6227)0 state considering it as isospin partner of the Ξb(6227)− resonance and possibly 1P or 2S excited state with spin J = $$ \frac{3}{2} $$ 3 2 . The corresponding masses for both possibilities have consistent results with the experimental data, indicating that only with the mass sum rules, one can not make exact decision on the nature and quantum numbers of this state. To go further, the decays of these possible excited states to $$ {\Xi}_b^{-}{\pi}^{+} $$ Ξ b − π + final state are also considered and the relevant strong coupling constants are extracted from the light cone sum rules. The obtained decay width values support the possibility of Ξb(6227)0 to be the 1P excited state of Ξb(5945)0 baryon.

Determination of 15N chemical shifts and heteronuclear coupling constants of substituted 2,2-dimethylpenta-3,4-dienal hydrazones is presented. The chemical shifts were determined by gradient-enhanced inverse-detected NMR techniques and 1H-15N coupling constants were extracted from phase-sensitive gradient-enhanced single-quantum multiple bond correlation experiments. Stereospecific behaviour of the coupling constants 2J(1H,15N) and 1J(1H,13C) has been used to determine the configuration on a C=N double bond. The above-mentioned compounds exist predominantly as E isomers in deuteriochloroform.

Reaction of 3β-acetoxy-21,22-dioxo-18α,19βH-ursan-28,20β-olide (IIIa) and 20β,28-epoxy-21,22-dioxo-19α,19βH-ursan-3β-yl acetate (IIIb) with diazomethane afforded derivatives XII-XIV with spiroepoxide group in position 21 or 22, which were further converted into hydroxy derivatives XV and XVII. Ethylene ketals VIII-X were also prepared. In connection with the determination of position and configuration of the functional groups at C(21) and C(22), the 1H and 13C NMR spectral data of the prepared compounds are discussed. Complete analysis of two four-spin systems in the 1H NMR spectrum of bisethylenedioxy derivative Xb led to the proton-proton coupling constants from which the structure with two 1,4-dioxane rings condensed with ring E, and their conformation, was derived.
