The magnetic phase diagram of the antiferromagnetically ordered heavy-fermion superconductor UPd 2 Al 3( T N = 14K , T c = 2K ) is highly anisotropic. Three different magnetic phases are only observed for magnetic fields applied in the easy basal plane of the hexagonal PrNi 2 Al 3 structure ( B ⊥ c ). For B || c , only one transition at the Néel temperature T N is found. A tetravalent ( 5f 2) uranium-configuration is inferred from a crystal-electric field analysis of the temperature dependence of the anisotropic paramagnetic susceptibility.

The magnetic susceptibility measurements have been made on antiferromagnetic compounds Mn1–xFexSn2 and the magnetic phase diagram was illustrated. The high temperature magnetic phases I and III, major phases, were analyzed on the basis of molecular field theory and explained the change of magnetic structure I⇌III occured at x≈0.8.

We consider the magnetic phase diagram of the two-dimensional Hubbard model ona square lattice. We take into account both spiral and collinear incommensurate magnetic states. The possibility of phase separation of spiral magnetic phases is taken into consideration as well. Our study shows that all the listed phases appear to be the ground state at certain parametersof the model. Relation of the obtained results to real materials, e.g. Cu-based high-temperaturesuperconductors, is discussed.

The phase diagram of low anisotropy antiferromagnets contains regions where small perturbations in the structure can induce rich interesting physical phenomenology that is still to be fully understood. This paper reviews the anomalies observed in site-diluted antiferromagnets in two regions of the magnetic phase diagram: the region where the magnetic field is very low, normally less than 10 Oe, and the spin-flop region. Although the observed phenomena is quite general, the magnetic behavior of the solid solutions A 2 Fe 1-x In x Cl 5· H 2 O , (A=K, Rb) is used to exemplify such anomalies.
