The quasi-stationary solitons for Langmuir waves in plasmas is obtained in this paper. This model is governed by the perturbed nonlinear Schrödinger's equation with cubic and power law nonlinearities. The perturbation terms are considered with full nonlinearity. A new generalized definition of the phase of the soliton is introduced. This leads to additional information at higher order level which soliton perturbation theory fails to capture.

In this paper, we discuss deep visual solutions of resonant nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation having full nonlinearity via taking the modified Kudryashov method. There are four types of nonlinearity in this paper. They are quadratic-cubic law, anti-cubic law, cubic-quintic-septic law and triple-power law. By performing this algorithm, logarithmical and rational solitons are deduced.

The soliton perturbation theory is employed to study chirped solitons that propagate through optical couplers and is governed by the dispersion-managed nonlinear Schrödinger's equation. Here, in this paper, we have considered both kinds of couplers namely twin-core as well as the multiple-core type. In either case, both Gaussian and super-Gaussian solitons are taken into account.

The definition of quantum singularity is extended from static space-times to conformally static space-times. After the usual definitions of classical and quantum singularities are reviewed, examples of quantum singularities in static space-times are given. These include asymptotically power-law space-times, space-times with diverging higher-order differential invariants, and a space-time with a 2-sphere singularity. The theory behind quantum singularities in conformally static space-times is followed by an example, a Friedmann-Robertson-Walker space-time with cosmic string. The paper concludes by discussing areas of future research.

This paper obtains the stationary optical 1-soliton solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger's equation with dual-power law nonlinearity. The technique of Lie symmetry is used to obtain the solution.
