Edge data processing represents the new evolution of the Internet and Cloud computing. Its application to the Internet of Things (IoT) is a step towards faster processing of information from sensors for better performance. In automated systems, we have a large number of sensors, whose information needs to be processed in the shortest possible time and acted upon. The paper describes the possibility of applying Artificial Intelligence on Edge devices using the example of finding a parking space for a vehicle, and directing it based on the segment the vehicle belongs to. Algorithm of Machine Learning is used for vehicle classification, which is based on vehicle dimensions.

Separating data and control planes by Software-Defined Networking (SDN) not only handles networks centrally and smartly. However, through implementing innovative protocols by centralized controllers, it also contributes flexibility to computer networks. The Internet-of-Things (IoT) and the implementation of 5G have increased the number of heterogeneous connected devices, creating a huge amount of data. Hence, the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning is significant. Thanks to SDN controllers, which are programmable and versatile enough to incorporate machine learning algorithms to handle the underlying networks while keeping the network abstracted from controller applications. In this chapter, a software-defined networking management system powered by AI (SDNMS-PAI) is proposed for end-to-end (E2E) heterogeneous networks. By applying artificial intelligence to the controller, we will demonstrate this regarding E2E resource management. SDNMS-PAI provides an architecture with a global view of the underlying network and manages the E2E heterogeneous networks with AI learning.

Now days, Machine learning is considered as the key technique in the field of technologies, such as, Internet of things (IOT), Cloud computing, Big data and Artificial Intelligence etc. As technology enhances, lots of incorrect and redundant data are collected from these fields. To make use of these data for a meaningful purpose, we have to apply mining or classification technique in the real world. In this paper, we have proposed two nobel approaches towards data classification by using supervised learning algorithm

For industrial production, the traditional manual on-site monitoring method is far from meeting production needs, so it is imperative to establish a remote monitoring system for equipment. Based on machine learning algorithms, this paper combines artificial intelligence technology and Internet of Things technology to build an efficient, fast, and accurate industrial equipment monitoring system. Moreover, in view of the characteristics of the diverse types of equipment, scattered layout, and many parameters in the manufacturing equipment as well as the complexity of the high temperature, high pressure, and chemical environment in which the equipment is located, this study designs and implements a remote monitoring and data analysis system for industrial equipment based on the Internet of Things. In addition, based on the application scenarios of the actual aeronautical weather floating platform test platform, this study combines the platform prototype system to design and implement a set of strong real-time communication test platform based on the Windows operating system. The test results show that the industrial Internet of Things system based on machine learning and artificial intelligence technology constructed in this paper has certain practicality.

Are we reaching the limits of what human-centered and user-centered design can cope with? Developing new design methodologies and tools to unlock the potentials of data technologies such as the Internet of Things, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for the everyday job of design is necessary but not sufficient. There is now a need to fundamentally question what happens when human-centered design is unable to effectively give form to technology, why this might be the case, and where we could look for alternatives.

Novel coronavirus spreads fast and has a huge impact on the whole world. In light of the spread of novel coronaviruses, we develop one big data prediction model of novel coronavirus epidemic in the context of intelligent medical treatment, taking into account all factors of infection and death and implementing emerging technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning. Based on the different application characteristics of various machine learning algorithms in the medical field, we propose one artificial intelligence prediction model based on random forest. Considering the loose coupling between the data preparation stage and the model training stage, such as data collection and data cleaning in the early stage, we adopt the IoT platform technology to integrate the data collection, data cleaning, machine learning training model, and front- and back-end frameworks to ensure the tight coupling of each module. To validate the proposed prediction model, we perform the evaluation work. In addition, the performance of the prediction model is analyzed to ensure the information accuracy of the prediction platform.

With the recent development in technologies and integration of millions of internet of things devices, a lot of data is being generated every day (known as Big Data). This is required to improve the growth of several organizations or in applications like e-healthcare, etc. Also, we are entering into an era of smart world, where robotics is going to take place in most of the applications (to solve the world's problems). Implementing robotics in applications like medical, automobile, etc. is an aim/goal of computer vision. Computer vision (CV) is fulfilled by several components like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL). Here, machine learning and deep learning techniques/algorithms are used to analyze Big Data. Today's various organizations like Google, Facebook, etc. are using ML techniques to search particular data or recommend any post. Hence, the requirement of a computer vision is fulfilled through these three terms: AI, ML, and DL.
