We investigate multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems with arguments taking the form of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. In order to relieve influence of unfair arguments, a Gaussian distribution-based argument-dependent weighting method and a hybrid support-function-based argument-dependent weighting method are devised by, respectively, measuring support degrees of arguments indirectly and directly, based on which the Gaussian generalized interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator (Gaussian-GIIFOWA) and geometric operator (Gaussian-GIIFOWG), the power generalized interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (P-GIIFOWA) operator and geometric (P-GIIFOWA) operator are proposed to generalize a wide range of aggregation operators for decision makers to flexibly choose in decision modelling. And some desirable properties of the proposed operators are also analyzed. Further, application of an approach integrating proposed operators to exploitation investment evaluation of tourist spots has shown the effectiveness and practicality of developed methods; experimental results also verify the properties of proposed operators.

Two induced aggregation operators with novelly designed TOPSIS order-inducing variables are proposed: Induced Interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Hybrid Averaging (I-IIFHA) operator and Induced Interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Hybrid Geometric (I-IIFHG) operator. The merit of two aggregation operators is that they can consider additional preference information of decision maker’s attitudinal characteristics besides argument-dependent information and argument-independent information. Some desirable properties of I-IIFHA and I-IIFHG are studied and theoretical analysis also shows that they can include a wide range of aggregation operators as special cases. Further, we extend these operators to form a novel group decision-making method for selecting the most desirable alternative in multiple attribute multi-interest group decision-making problems with attribute values and decision maker’s interest values taking the form of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, and application research to real estate purchase selection shows its practicality.

In this paper, we present the intuitionistic fuzzy generalized probabilistic ordered weighted averaging (IFGPOWA) operator. It is a new aggregation operator that uses generalized means in a unified model between the probability and the OWA operator. The main advantage of this new operator is that it is able to deal with probabilities (objective information) and ordered weighted averages (subjective information) in the same formulation. Moreover, it is also able to deal with uncertain environments that can be assessed with intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Furthermore, it uses generalized means providing a very general formulation that includes a wide range of situations. We study some of its main properties and particular cases such as the generalized intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (GIFOWA) operator and intuitionistic fuzzy probabilistic ordered weighted averaging (IFPOWA) operator. We end the paper by applying the new operator to a group decision making problem concerning the selection of investments.

In this paper, some new operators for aggregating interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information are proposed to deal with multiple attribute decision making problems. Firstly, the C-IFOWA operator and C-IFOWG operator are developed to aggregate all the values in the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Some of their desirable properties are also studied. Secondly, in order to aggregate a set of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, some new aggregation operators are proposed based on the C-IFOWA operator and C-IFOWG operator. Thirdly, two methods for multiple attribute decision making, in which the attribute values are given in the forms of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are presented. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the practicality and validity of the proposed methods.

Linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (LIFNs) is a new concept in describing the intuitionistic fuzzy information, which membership and non-membership are expressed by linguistic terms, so it can more easily express the fuzzy information, and some research results on LIFNs have been achieved. However, in the existing researches, some linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators are based on the traditional operational rules, and they have some drawbacks for multi-attribute decision making (MADM) in the practical application. In order to overcome these problems, in this paper, we proposed some improved operational rules based on LIFNs and verified their some properties. Then we developed some aggregation operators to fuse the decision information represented by LIFNs, including the improved linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging (ILIFWA) operator and the improved linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy weighted power average (ILIFWPA) operator. Further, we proved their some desirable properties. Based on the ILIFWA operator and the ILIFWPA operator, we presented some new methods to deal with the multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems under the linguistic intuitionistic fuzzy environment. Finally, we used some practical examples to illustrate the validity and feasibility of the proposed methods by comparing with other methods.

In this paper, Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making (MAGDM) problems in which the data is of the form of Interval Valued Intuitionistic Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers (IVITzFNs) is presented. Some operational laws of IVITzFNs are introduced. Then some new aggregation operators including interval valued Intuitionistic Trapezoidal Fuzzy Weighted Averaging (IVITzFWA) operator, interval valued Intuitionistic Trapezoidal Fuzzy Ordered Weighted Averaging (IVITzFOWA) operator and Interval Intuitionistic Trapezoidal Fuzzy Hybrid Averaging (IVITzFHA) operator, are proposed and some desirable properties of these operators are studied, such as Commutativity, Idempotency and Monotonicity. A new distance function and correlation coefficient are proposed for IVITzFNs which will be utilized for ranking the alternatives in MAGDM problems. Finally, numerical illustrations are given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract In this paper, an improved multiple attribute decision making (MADM) method based on the proposed novel score function and accuracy function of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) is proposed to aggregate large-scale data. The attribute values in the decision matrices provided by each decision-maker (DM), which are characterized by interval numbers. First, a transformation matrix is introduced to define the concepts of satisfactory set, un- satisfactory set and uncertainty set of alternatives. An approach is then developed for aggregating attribute values into IVIFNs, and we will obtain the collective evaluation of each alternative. Next, using the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging operator, the collective attribute values characterized by IVIFNs are aggregated to get the overall evaluation of alternatives. The score function and accuracy function are applied to calculate the score degree and the rank of each alternative. Finally, a large-scale example is given to verify the validity of the reported method.

In this paper, we expand the Muirhead mean (MM) operator and dual Muirhead mean (DMM) operator with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) to propose the interval -valued intuitionistic fuzzy Muirhead mean (IVIFMM) operator, interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted Muirhead mean (IVIFWMM) operator, interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy dual Muirhead mean (IVIFDMM) operator and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted dual Muirhead mean (IVIFWDMM) operator. Then the MADM methods are proposed with these operators. In the end, we utilize an applicable example for green supplier selection in green supply chain management to prove the proposed methods.

In this paper, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TCHFEWA) operator, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TCHFEOWA) operator and triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted averaging (TCHFEHWA) operator are proposed. An approach to multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic information is developed based on the TCHFEWA and the TCHFEHWA operators. Furthermore, we establish various properties of these operators and derive the relationship between the proposed operators and the existing aggregation operators. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the application of the established approach.

Correlation coefficient of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set (IFS), Interval valued IFS, Triangular IFS and Trapezoidal IFS are already present in the literature. This paper proposes the correlation coefficient for Triangular Fuzzy Intuitionistic Fuzzy set (TrFIFS). The method on uncertain Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making (MAGDM) problems based on aggregating intuitionistic fuzzy information is investigated for TrFIFSs. The Triangular Fuzzy Intuitionistic Fuzzy Ordered Weighted Averaging (TrFIFOWA) operator is proposed for TrFIFSs and the Triangular Fuzzy Intuitionistic Fuzzy Ordered Weighted Geometric (TrFIFOWG) operator is utilized for decision making models where expert weights are completely unknown. Based on these operators and the correlation coefficient defined for the TrFIFSs, new decision making models are proposed with numerical illustrations. Some comparisons are also made with existing ranking methods for validity.
