The end-to-end throughput of a routing path in wireless multihop network is restricted by a bottleneck node that has the smallest bandwidth among the nodes on the routing path. In this study, we propose a method for resolving the bottleneck-node problem in multihop networks, which is based on multihop DESYNC (MH-DESYNC) algorithm that is a bioinspired resource allocation method developed for use in multihop environments and enables fair resource allocation among nearby (up to two hops) neighbors. Based on MH-DESYNC, we newly propose weighted-DESYNC (W-DESYNC) as a tool artificially to control the amount of resource allocated to the specific user and thus to achieve throughput fairness over a routing path. Proposed W-DESYNC employs the weight factor of a link to determine the amount of bandwidth allocated to a node. By letting the weight factor be the link quality of a routing path and making it the same across a routing path via Cucker-Smale flocking model, we can obtain throughput fairness over a routing path. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves throughput fairness over a routing path and can increase total end-to-end throughput in wireless multihop networks.

The protocols of typical routing algorithms which are designed for the wireless networks long back are specifically application oriented. Taking consideration at present, with the increase in the usage of the wireless networks the problem we are facing is video traffic. The very important thing is to maintain a good quality of video. At present users are opting videos in high quality that are to be delivered smoothly into their devices. The nature of video is changed due to 1) Because of the compression distortion occurs at the source. 2) With both interference and the errors induced on wireless channels distortion occurs. Hence, in this paper we work for the reduction of the distortion that occurs in video traffic. In order to overcome this problem we opted a wireless network in which the flow of application contains video traffic. For the clients the reduction of the distortion is very difficult. We cannot minimize the video distortions by using the link quality based routing measures. To understand this we construct an analytical framework first, then on the video distortions for accessing the impact. By using an analytical framework we design a routing measure for the reduction of distortion. With our experiment results we evaluate that our protocol is best for the reduction of video distortion and also for the reduction of the experience of user de-gradations.

This first element is contrasted with the policies of resource allocation pursued by Bogota local administrations in the period 2000-2013, in order to identify the real governmental contributions to thelocal economy. Next, a practical exercise is conducted by applying the methodology of Vester as a basis for the formulation of recommendations addressed to the city government; those recommendations depict the priorities that the targeted population expects from the institutional action to improve the performance of their business and to enhance their income to better their quality of life and that of their families. Fecha de recepción: 23 agosto 2016Fecha de aprobación: 15 noviembre de 2016Fecha de publicación: 6 de enero de 2017

Device-to-Device (D2D) communications, which enable direct communication between nearby user devices over the licensed spectrum, have been considered a key technique to improve spectral efficiency and system throughput in cellular networks (CNs). However, the limited spectrum resources cannot be sufficient to support more cellular users (CUs) and D2D users to meet the growth of the traffic data in future wireless networks. Therefore, Long-Term Evolution-Unlicensed (LTE-U) and D2D-Unlicensed (D2D-U) technologies have been proposed to further enhance system capacity by extending the CUs and D2D users on the unlicensed spectrum for communications. In this paper, we consider an LTE network where the CUs and D2D users are allowed to share the unlicensed spectrum with Wi-Fi users. To maximize the sum rate of all users while guaranteeing each user’s quality of service (QoS), we jointly consider user access and resource allocation. To tackle the formulated problem, we propose a matching-iteration-based joint user access and resource allocation algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve system throughput compared to the other benchmark algorithms.
