The life and damage of hemispherical resonator are important factors that directly affect the service time and safety of high-precision hemispherical resonator gyro. However, the fused silica glass material used in the hemispherical resonator which was processed in China is mainly imported, and it is too expensive to use the traditional fatigue life experiment, so it is necessary to use the software of fatigue life analysis to analyze its fatigue life. In the paper, the ANSYS software is used to analyze the fatigue life of fused silica hemispherical resonator, to determine the dangerous parts caused by the residual stress to analyze the crack propagation in the fatigue parts, and to obtain the sum stress intensity factor, so as to effectively monitor and prevent the fatigue-prone parts in the process of structural design and use of the hemispherical resonator.

The complex force of the auger stem in soft coal seam is taken as the research object. Then the three-dimensional model of spiral pipe is established in the SOLIDWORKS software, and introduced into the workbench simulation platform of ANSYS software to simulate the stress distribution of the screw drill pipe in actual working conditions. According to the results of the analysis, the conclusion is that the stress concentration is around the pin hole of the female joint and the fatigue life of spiral drill pipe is 280.72 x 10 3 cycles.

The paper presents selected problems of fatigue life of bolt joints. An analysis of factors influencing fatigue life of bolt joints was performed and selected methods of improving life were described. Authors presents examples of numerical calculations with use of ANSYS software which depict influence of pre-tension in the bolt on fatigue life of the joint. Presented results of life calculation were carried out for bolt joint loaded along bolt axis and for bolt lap joint loaded perpendicular to bolt axis.

In this paper, we use the virtual prototype technology in combination with fatigue life analysis software to analyze the fatigue life of the basketball wheelchair. Through the analysis, we judged the weakest links which influences the fatigue life in the wheelchair structural design. Research results have the vital significance for improving the performance of the basketball wheelchair and the development level of sports.

As the main supporting drive components of the automobile transmission, the transmission bearings are mainly used to support the moving parts installed on the gear shaft, and to ensure the rotary precision of the gear shaft and the rotating parts, which plays an important role on transmission performance. Aiming at the existing problems of the traditional check method of bearing, the objective of this study is to take a five-speed transmission as an example, to accomplish the fatigue life analysis of the bearings of the automobile transmission based on the MASTA software. The simulation modeling of the transmission is built completely to simulate the actual load conditions and complete the process of analysis for the bearings. Analytical results show that using MASTA software can effectively perform the fatigue life analysis of the transmission bearings instead of the general conventional theoretical calculation method in the actual manufacturing process, moreover, the analysis results will provide theoretical basis for the overall optimization structural design of the automobile transmission.

As an important rolling connection of the wind turbine, yaw slewing bearing plays a critical role in the structure reliability. Therefore, effective health monitoring of a slewing bearing to execute timely maintenance or replacement have attracted significant interest. In order to monitor working conditions on line, various sensors have been used. This paper discussed the installation approaches of various sensors in a yaw slewing bearing, and analyzed the effect of local structure change on the fatigue life of a 1.5MW slewing bearing by MSC.FATIGUE, and thus providing an effective reference for structural design of a smart slewing bearing.
