Abstract. A ratchet is an essential component of the ratchet pawl mechanism. But the traditional ratchet strength check method has certain limitations in the design process. In this paper, the stress analysis of the ratchet is discussed and a precision mathematical model for the ratchet tooth root bending stress is proposed for the first time. This model was established by the folded section and defined by the incision effect theory. To test the prediction ability of the proposed mathematical model, the maximum stress of three standard ratchets and one non-standard ratchet were analyzed by the FEA (finite element analysis) method. The non-standard ratchet was adapted in the ratchet experiment to analyze its maximum stress. The analysis results presented in this paper show that the proposed mathematical model has a good predictability, regardless of whether it is a standard or non-standard ratchet. It is recommended that this model can be used to predict the ratchet tooth root bending stress in the ratchet design process.

The role of women farmers in various regions in Indonesia is very much needed because the need for food in Indonesia is relatively high. The working hours also high, with an average of 35 hours per week. Based on the results of preliminary observations using the Nordic Body Map, it was found that the average female farmer felt pain in the back, neck, upper arms, and wrists. This study uses the QEC (Quick exposure checklist) method. Based on this method, several parts of the body assess the onset of work disorders, namely the neck, back, shoulders or arms, and wrists. Apart from that, there are also psychosocial factors, including work speed and stress. In the QEC method, there is an exposure score calculation to determine what action is taken based on the analysis of the total exposure score. This research was conducted by filling out questionnaires in 36 different regions in Indonesia. Based on the questionnaire results, it was found that female farmers in Indonesia had the highest exposure score of 51.33%. This result can occur due to the increased load carried and the length of time worked.

Abstract All data, including air temperature data, must be verified by conducting quality control using the step check method. Step check quality control is carried out by looking at the difference of a parameter in a certain period compared to the threshold value that was already determined. Therefore before carrying out step check quality control, it is necessary to determine the ceiling and floor boundaries of the difference in air temperature data every hour. The data used in this study are hourly air temperature data and hourly present weather data from weather observations at the South Tangerang Climatological Station during 2016 - 2020. In determining the threshold for air temperature step check quality control, the air temperature data is paired with weather condition data to obtain a threshold value according to rain and no rain conditions. The threshold conducted in this study is based on a check for unusual climatological values, where the limits for an unusual and impossible jump in hourly air temperature changes are determined based on a certain percentage of the data distribution. This study uses percentile analysis to determine the threshold, where 5% in the lower and upper part of the data distribution are used as the threshold. The results show various thresholds every hour. The increase in temperature dominates the changes of hourly air temperature in no-rain conditions. The highest threshold for temperature increase occurs at 00.00 – 01.00 UTC at 3.2°C and continues to decrease over time. The highest threshold for temperature decrease occurs at 09.00 UTC - 10.00 UTC at 2.2°C. In rain conditions, the increase in temperature can still occur. However, the decrease in temperature mainly occurs. The highest threshold for temperature increase during rainy conditions is 1.8°C at 01.00 - 02.00 UTC, while the highest threshold for the temperature decrease is 5.8°C at 06.00 UTC – 07.00 UTC. With these results, observers can first carry out quality control with the Step Check method before filling in the data into the system database. Thus, any suspect data either from reading errors or tool errors can be minimized and finally produce a valid dataset.

Abstract The photoplethysmography optically measures blood volume changes within micro vascular tissue. Furthermore, photoplethysmographic signals are used within pulse oximeters in order to calculate the oxygen saturation of the blood. This standard measurement technique is performed as a non-invasive spot check method for human health conditions in hospitals or other health care facilities. Usually at least two light sources are used alternating in order to measure photoplethysmograms at different wavelengths. In this paper we will investigate different methods of optically recording photoplethysmographic signals.

Prefabricated construction has gained increasing popularity to meet the needs of rapid city development in recent years. Installation quality check is a critical task in prefabricated construction, and currently mostly still carried out manually, which is slow and ineffective. To provide an efficient and practical quality check method to replace the current manual method, this paper elaborates on an approach for checking prefabricated wall panels using laser scanning. The approach is validated in an actual case study. A common laser scanner BLK 360 is adopted to collect onsite 3D scenes after panel installation. The point clouds collected are co-roistered, classified, and segmented. Geometric parameters such as angles and distances allow for determining whether the installation meets the quality requirement. The outcome is compared with the quality check results using the conventional manual method. The results show that the panels, which need rectification, are correctly identified by the proposed approach. The major contribution of this study is determining the set of segmentation parameters to be adopted in similar quality check-up procedures. A practical and efficient quality check process is also proposed and can be readily implemented for certain prefabricated elements in many construction cases.

This paper presents the algorithms developed to detect and locate the faults ata hybrid circuit. First, the fault detection algorithm was developed using the comparison of total positive-sequence fault current between pre-fault and fault times to detect the occurrence of a fault. Then, the voltage check method was used to decide whether the fault occurred at overhead line (OHL) or cable section. Finally, the fault location algorithm using the impedance-based method and negative-sequence measurements from both terminals of the circuit were used to estimate the fault point from local terminal. From the tests of various fault conditions including different fault types, fault resistance and fault locations, the proposed method successfully detected all fault cases at around 1 cycle from fault initiation and with correct faulted section identification. Besides that, the fault location algorithm also has very accurate results of fault estimation with average error less than 1 km and 1%.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is one social phenomenon that has the potential to aggravate the situation, namely stigma in patients suspected of Covid-19 or rapid reactive results. The lab results have not actually confirmed that the patient is positive for Covid-19 but the social environment or negative associations of a person or group of people who experience symptoms or bear certain diseases result in stigma against a person. This study aims to find out how the experience and stigma in patients suspected of Covid - 19. This study uses qualitative approach method of phenomenological studies and in-depth interviews with telenursing. The number of participants in this study was 10 participants. This study obtained 5 themes, namely physiological experience, psychological experience, biological experience, sociological experience and spiritual experience. The high positive number of Covid-19 in Indonesia makes the emergence of negative stigma of society to patients exposed to Covid-19, not even just Patients who are positive of Covid-19 who get negative stigma, therefore for diagnostic enforcement it takes examination by Molecular Test: Real Time PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method. The sample types used are bronchoalveolar lavage, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swabs, sputum, tracheal aspirate, nasopharyngeal aspirate or nasal wash, and biopsy tissue including from the lungs. Real Time PCR check method is the golden standard for the enforcement of diagnostic Covid - 19.

Background and Objective: Fault-tolerant IoT (Internet of Things) architecture is the need of the hour when we foresee major developments in this sector. Fault tolerance can be established at various levels. IoT devices require faulttolerant smart sensors. Coping with soft and hard faults in a smart sensor is a challenging task. In the past, the extensive efforts for fault tolerance were associated with on-chip memories. Method: To detect the error in logic functions, numerous solutions already exist, but only a few of them allow the correction, which leads to an increase in overhead of hardware in non-processor design. In this paper fault tolerance in onchip memories of the smart sensor is implemented using rollback mechanisms parity generator and checker using Xilinx ISE. Results: Improved fault tolerance in embedded memories. Conclusion: The rollback and parity check method is found effective in ensuring fault tolerance in embedded memories.
