The proposed scheme implemented a semi blind digital watermarking method for video exploiting MPEG-2 standard. The watermark is inserted into selected high frequency coefficients of plain types of discrete cosine transform blocks instead of edge and texture blocks during intra coding process. The selection is essential because the error in such type of blocks is less sensitive to human eyes as compared to other categories of blocks. Therefore, the perceptibility of watermarked video does not degraded sharply. Visual quality is also maintained as motion vectors used for generating the motion compensated images are untouched during the entire watermarking process. Experimental results revealed that the scheme is not only robust to re-compression attack, spatial synchronization attacks like cropping, rotation but also strong to temporal synchronization attacks like frame inserting, deleting, swapping and averaging. The superiority of the anticipated method is obtaining the best sturdiness results contrast to the recently delivered schemes.

The multi-resolution watermarking method for digital images proposed in this work. The multiscale ridgelet coefficients of low and high frequency bands of the watermark is embedded to the most significant coefficients at low and high frequency bands of the multiscale ridgelet of an host image, respectively. A multi-resolution nature of multiscale ridgelet transform is exploiting in the process of edge detection. Experimental results of the proposed watermarking method are compared with the previously available watermarking algorithm wavelet transform. Moreover, the proposed watermarking method also tested on images attached by Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and wavelet based lossy image compression techniques.

Halftone images are commonly printed on books, newspapers, and magazines. How to protect the copyright of these printed halftone images becomes an important issue. Digital watermarking provides a solution for copyright protection. In this paper, we will propose a novel printable watermarking method for dithering halftone images. Based on downsampling and the property of a dispersed dithering screen, the method can resist cropping, tampering, and print-and-scan process attacks. In addition, comparing to Guo et al.’s method, the experimental results show that the proposed method provides higher robustness for the above-mentioned attacks and better visual quality in the high-frequency regions of halftone images.

A chaotic digital watermarking scheme based on logistic mapping was introduced. In the frequency domain, the chaos sequence embedded in DC component DC through using discrete cosine transform (DCT). Being of human visual system(HVS) masking properties, the watermarking adapt itself into the image, which ensure the watermark is invisible.

Now-a-days watermarking plays a pivotal role in most of the industries for providing security to their own as well as hired or leased data. This paper its main aim is to study the multiresolution watermarking algorithms and also choosing the effective and efficient one for improving the resistance in data compression. Computational savings from such a multiresolution watermarking framework is obvious. The multiresolutional property makes our watermarking scheme robust to image/video down sampling operation by a power of two in either space or time. There is no common framework for multiresolutional digital watermarking of both images and video. A multiresolution watermarking based on the wavelet transformation is selected in each frequency band of the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) domain and therefore it can resist the destruction of image processing.   The rapid development of Internet introduces a new set of challenging problems regarding security. One of the most significant problems is to prevent unauthorized copying of digital production from distribution. Digital watermarking has provided a powerful way to claim intellectual protection. We proposed an idea for enhancing the robustness of extracted watermarks. Watermark can be treated as a transmitted signal, while the destruction from attackers is regarded as a noisy distortion in channel.  For the implementation, we have used minimum nine coordinate positions. The watermarking algorithms to be taken for this study are Corvi algorithm and Wang algorithm. In all graph, we have plotted X axis as peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and y axis as Correlation with original watermark. The threshold value ά is set to 5. The result is smaller than the threshold value then it is feasible, otherwise it is not.
