Banyumas Regency is a student city in Central Java which has 21 tertiary institutions, consisting of state and private tertiary institutions, spread throughout the Banyumas region. With so many PTs available, it is often difficult for prospective students from out of town to get locations, so by building an Android-based Geographic Information System for Banyumas Higher Education Institutions that is built to help and facilitate the community or prospective students. With the prototype method with steps (communication, planning, modeling, prototype formation, and evaluation). The scope of the system includes the GPS assistance facilities. The main menu contained in the application of PTN and PTS about the brief description of information about tertiary institutions, facility menus from the ATM, gas station and hospital sub menus, emergency call menus containing important telephone numbers such as the police and fire department , and help menu how to use the application. Conclusions The study states that HI was accepted, namely "There is a significant time difference in the process of finding the location of tertiary institutions before and after using the Geographic Information System for Higher Education in Banyumas Regency on Android". Then based on the results of product tests that have been done show that the product test value to determine the quality of the system being built is 96.85, the value is greater than the feasibility limit of 75. Thus, the system built is suitable for use by the wider community.

This paper aims to build a database that can be used as the most important part of a geographic information system by using data from reliable sources. Data collection is done through process scrapping on some official website of Indonesia government. In addition to collecting quantitative data of higher education, this paper also mapping geographically from the high level of existing in Indonesia. It is expected that this data will be able to help the community and government in observing and analyzing the quantity and distribution of universities. The result of this research is one database that is ready to be integrated in more complex geographic information system. In addition, the scrapping method used allows us to perform the upgrade of data that has been obtained previously.

Depok City is one of the cities that is vulnerable to fire disasters. The Depok City Fire Department feels the need for a system that can assist in the handling and management of fire disasters. This system must be the right system to solve existing problems. Researchers have created many new systems. One of them is Geographic Information System (GIS) is a special information system for managing data that has spatial information. This research purposes to analyze and design a Geographic Information System (GIS) aimed at assisting the Depok City Fire Department that is desktop-based using the waterfall method. With the application of this Geographic Information System (GIS) aims to help accelerate the processing of fire reports on decision making, presenting spatial and non-spatial data that is more organized and can be updated also makes it easier to find new locations of fire stations , hydrants, fire-prone points, and flood-prone points.

<p><em>Garbage is a difficult problem to solve. Data in the Environmental sector still uses traditional or manual methods in processing. Data processing needs to be done to get accurate data and spreading the information more effectively and efficiently. Traditional or manual methods are irrelevant. It needs a system that makes data processing more effective, efficient and accurate.</em></p><p><em>Simple Multi Attribute Ranking Technique (SMART) is one of various Decision Support System methods that can provide assistance, efficiency and accuracy when processing of data. This method will be implemented in data processing to determine the best Final Disposal Areas (FDA) in the districts and will showing visually using a Geographic Information System (GIS). With the presence of this system, it will provide an overview of the best areas for final disposal areas to be built in the districts. In this case, data processing is carried out in Pemalang District, Central Java Province.</em></p><p><em>The fundamental difference between the SMART Method and the other methods is its simplicity and efficiency in processing multi criteria data. Dengue fever is an important public health problem in indonesia, in the year 2014 the number of death due to dengue fever in Indonesia 903 people from 99499 cases. Sukoharjo district is one of the bloody endemic distrric in central java. In eradicating dengue fever, the larva survey used is a visual method using the entomology indicator, the house index and maya index. This study aims to determine the effect of house index and maya index on the incidence of dengue fever in  Grogol district of Sukoharjo using geographic information system (GIS). The research method used is an analytical survey wuth cross sectional approach. The result of the study showed a maya index effect on the incidence of dengue fever in  Grogol district of Sukoharjo (p value 0,00), there is no effect of house index on the incidence of dengue fever in Grogol District of Sukoharjo (p value 0,87).

Higher Education is the level of higher education or further education after a high school education or equivalent. Based on the observations of researchers in Bali Island, especially in the city of Denpasar is very growing growth of universities by providing a variety of courses so that information about the college is not maximally known by the general public and high school alumni / equivalent in particular who want to continue to higher education level. To provide more interactive and effective information then built the application of geographic information system of the spread of universities on the island of Bali by using Arcview GIS as its tools. The data needed on this system is spatial data and non spatial data. Spatial data is a data type of vector that has the characteristics of point, line and polygon. Point is used to represent cities and colleges, lines used to represent roads and polygons are used to represent areas of the district locations of the college. The non-spatial data is the attribute data describing the college. Spatial data and non-spatial data intergrated are implemented in ArcView in the form of digital maps. The process undertaken in this study is the grouping of universities by type of universities, institutes, high schools, polytechnics and academies. Grouping by type of college in each regency / municipality on the island of Bali with the aim to facilitate in obtaining information of colleges in each kabupeten so that people can calculate the distance of residence with the desired college. The result of this research is application of university dissemination in each regency / municipality and application of university deployment in Bali Island by using ArcView GIS (Geographic Information Siystem) software.

GIS (Geographic Information System) is an information system that can store and integrate spatial data and non-spatial data can be used for interactive mapping of STIKOM Student School origin in Denpasar. During this time the spread of origin of high school / vocational school / equivalent STIKOM Bali students has never been mapped to find out the trend of increase or decrease in the number of origin of STIKOM Bali student schools from 2013-2018 and predict the number of students in accordance with the origin of schools in the city of Denpasar. This study aims to provide information to the management of STIKOM Bali regarding the distribution trends of the interests of prospective students to continue to tertiary level, especially STIKOM Bali. This research will collaborate between statistical science and the concept of GIS (Geographic Information System). Statistically the number of STIKOM Bali students is based on the origin of schools in Denpasar City and predicts it for the next 3 years using a trend analysis of semi-average methods (Semi Average Methods) as a material for evaluating the performance of STIKOM Bali management in improving the performance of campus promotions. This method makes trends by finding the average group of data which consists of grouping data into 2 parts, calculating average arithmetic, calculating the difference, formulating the value of change and making equations for subsequent trends. The results of these calculations are mapped with the concept of GIS (Geographic Information System) using ArcView as software to implement that integrates spatial data with non-spatial data.
