In the face of increasing technological advances, the development of society refers to the ability to keep up with technological developments and the ability to access and present useful information. Lack of information and knowledge about the location of the gift store makes the public or tourists only visit the nearest store or those suggested by friends and people around. This study aims to develop a web-based geographic information system to make it easier for people to find the location of Lampung gift store. In this study using extreme programming as a development method. Based on the results of testing ISO 25010 that has been carried out involving 50 respondents, the conclusion that the quality of the software produced has a success percentage with a total average of 90.66%. So it can be concluded that the percentage value obtained shows the overall software quality has a "Very Good" scale and is feasible to use.

Abstract Biomass conversion to bioenergy has always been necessary to ensure the most efficient use of the limited biomass resource and enable economic viability. Evaluating biomass transportation cost, electricity transmission cost and heat transferring cost between power plant location/s and supply/demand points and selection of an optimum power plant capacity is an important issue for a robust supply chain design. In this study, we employed designing optimum biomass to the bioenergy supply chain for agricultural activities using Geographic Information System and Simulated Annealing algorithm to overcome a real-world problem in Bismil District of Diyarbakır/Turkey. Our goal is to define a potential investment location/s on the trigeneration system by comparing the trade-offs between the raw material/end-product transportation costs and facility/s and pipeline installation costs. To determine possible locations for power plants, distance matrices were retrieved from suitable candidate power plant locations and agricultural parcel, settlement and the nearest high voltage electricity line from the Geographic Information System. The results showed that establishing one power plant is feasible. The net present value of a potential investment is almost 260 million Euros and the re-payment period is 1.33 years.

The process of transporting passengers and goods takes place in space; therefore, geospatial foundations are considered in transport models. Considering conceptual, methodological and technical developments in this direction, the relevance of an integrated approach becomes obvi-ous. The article deals with geographic information systems and their application in modeling transport processes. Three areas are identified in which the spatial perspective contributes to effective modeling and increasing the reliability of the results obtained. The purpose of the study is to prove the prospects of spatial transport modeling with the integration of geographic information systems

Changes in people's mindsets in obtaining accurate information are influenced by the rapid advancement of information technology. Currently, one of the most widespread applications of technology is in the field of mapping. Mapping technology is widely used to simplify important tasks. The most widely used mapping technology today is geographic information systems. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a mapping technology trend in the form of computerized information systems designed to work with spatial references. In the current pandemic period, buying and selling products offered are difficult to carry out due to restrictions on social interaction between communities, making it difficult for SMEs to sell their products. The development of information technology, especially the internet, can certainly be used as a medium to overcome these problems. The existence of a website-based information system is intended to support marketing, especially in providing detailed product and price information to consumers. The presence of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world with unprecedented challenges and has had a huge impact on daily human activities, resulting in a worsening of the global economy. The COVID-19 pandemic is currently entering its second year, requiring daily activities to be carried out from home. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has also caused business owners to feel a very real decline. In such conditions, a web-based communicative information system is needed, from which it is hoped that problem solving, especially the provision of information about the superior products of SMEs, is needed.

AbstractThe objectives of the study were to evaluate the impact of pesticide exposure on farmer health during non-active rice farming and active rice farming periods and present the change in the individual cholinesterase activities (%reduction) on the geographic information system (GIS) mapping in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. Acetyl- and butyryl-cholinesterase (AChE and BuChE) activities were monitored during both study periods using Test-mate ChE (Model 400). The location of paddy fields was specified using Garmin geographic positioning system MAP 62s. Fifty-eight farmers who participated in this study had an average age of 49.2 ± 6.9 years. Higher prevalence of all health symptoms was observed among farmer participants during the active rice farming period comparing to the non-active rice farming period (p < 0.01). Furthermore, farmers had significantly lower activities of AChE and BuChE during the active rice farming period comparing to the non-active rice farming period (p < 0.01). Our findings indicate that the GIS mapping indicate that the cases with a significant enzyme inhibition have dispersed across the agricultural and the nearby residential areas. This, investigation can be used to promote safer use of pesticides among farmers and mitigate pesticide exposure among residents living in close proximity to a rice field.
