Two new species of the genusAmphinemura,A.albicaudasp. n.andA.dingoideasp. n.from the southern Qinling Mountains, Foping County of Shaanxi Province, western China, are described based on both sexes and the larval stage. The new species are compared with related taxa, and theA.sinensisspecies group is defined for an Oriental lineage of the genus.Amphinemurasinensis(Wu, 1926) andA.unihamata(Wu, 1973) are reported from Shaanxi for the first time, and the hitherto unknown female ofA.unihamatais described. A distribution map of the Amphinemurinae known from Qinling Mountains is given.

A new species of the perlodid genus Isoperla Banks, 1906, Isoperla qinlinga Chen, sp. nov. from Shaanxi Province of northwestern China is described. The new species is characterized by the mostly dark head and pronotum, the poorly developed vesicle, the modified ventral and dorsal aedeagal lobes, and the slightly developed, rounded subgenital plate of the female. Comments are provided on the known species of Isoperla of China.

A new genus and three new species of eriophyid mites from the Qinling Mountains, Shaanxi Province, northwestern China are described and illustrated: Calvittacus regiae gen. nov. and sp. nov. on Juglans regia L. (Juglandaceae); Calepitrimerus dendrobenthamiae sp. nov. on Dendrobenthamia japonica var. chinensis (Osborn) Fang (Cornaceae) and Calepitrimerus fopingi sp. nov. on Lindera glauca (Sieb. et Zucc.) Blume (Lauraceae). All the species are vagrant on the undersurface of leaves. No apparent damages were found on the host plant. A key to the species of Calepitrimerus from China is provided.

Mesopsyche Tillyard, 1917 is an extinct genus of Mecoptera belonging to the long-proboscid-bearing Mesopsychidae, an adaptation probably associated with pollination of Mesozoic gymnosperms. Here, we describe two new species, Mesopsyche jinsuoguanensis sp. nov., from the Middle Triassic Tongchuan Formation in Shaanxi Province, and Mesopsyche liaoi sp. nov., from the Upper Triassic Huangshanjie Formation in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. The new discoveries highlight the diversity of the Mesopsyche in the region during the Mesozoic.

Two new species, Flavoperla retusata Mo, Li & Wang, sp. nov. and F. yangi Mo, Li & Murányi, sp. nov. are proposed from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China. Distinctness of the new species is based on morphological characters and DNA sequence comparisons with their closest known relative, F. galerispina Mo, Wang & Li, 2020. The taxonomic relationships of the two new species and related congeners are discussed.

Paraleuctra cuihuashana sp. nov., the first formally reported brachypterous stonefly of Leuctridae (Plecoptera) known from China, is described from Shaanxi Province of northwestern China. The new species is characterized by the short-winged male with unique hindwing venation and a finger-shaped process on cerci. The female of P. cuihuashana sp. nov. has variable wing length. Molecular data supported the distinctness of the new species and the widespread P. orientalis (Chu, 1928).

A new winter stonefly species of the genus Capnia Pictet, 1841, Capnia s.l. bilobata sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Shaanxi Province of northwestern China. The new species is distinguished from all currently known Capnia s.l. by the male and female genitalic characters. The falciform projection on male tergum 9 and the unique-shaped female subgenital plate separate the new taxon from other congeners.
