The power quality assessment provides a reference for power quality management and control of microgrid operation. In terms of reflecting the correlation of power quality indexes and the dynamic changes of microgrid operating conditions, the traditional power quality assessment methods need to be improved. A power quality comprehensive evaluation based on CRITIC and dynamic coefficient is proposed in this paper. In this method, the objective weight of power quality indicators in single node is determined by using the intensity of conflict and contrast firstly. For the node weight calculation, the dynamic coefficient is proposed to reflect the different influence degree of node with different connected load. The proposed method in this paper can reflect both the internal characteristic of data sequence and the relationship between different data sequences. In addition, it also can reflect the dynamic changes of microgrid. Finally, an example is used to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.

AbstractWith the continuous development of testing and evaluation of tidal current convertors, power quality assessment is becoming more and more critical. According to the characteristics of Chinese tidal current power generation and power quality standards, this paper proposes a comprehensive evaluation method of power quality based on K-means clustering and a support vector machine. The fundamental purpose of the method is to automatically select the weights of various indicators in the comprehensive assessment of power quality, by which the influence of subjective factors can be eliminated. In order to achieve the above purpose, K-means clustering is used for automatically classifying the operational data into five different categories. Then, a support vector machine is used to study and estimate the relationship of the operational data and categories. Using the method proposed in the paper, the analysis of operational data of a tidal current power generation shows that calculation results can objectively reflect the power quality of the device, and the influence of subjective factors is eliminated. The method can provide a reference for the testing and evaluation of a large amount of tidal current convertors in the future.

Adaptation evaluation index system is established according to the influences brought by the distributed generations (DGs) interconnected with the distribution network. Evaluation indicators are proposed to reflect the operating conditions of distribution lines, switches and other important devices of distribution network. Combine Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method is used to determine the weights of the evaluation indicators. Whereby obtain the comprehensive evaluation results of distribution equipment adaptation to DGs integration. A study of a practical grid is made in the cases of the DGs centralized integration, decentralized integration, and without DGs. The simulated result shows that a large number of DGs connected with the distribution network would deteriorate a majority of the equipment operating indicators, especially to the indexes related to switches and protection devices. Meanwhile, when a distribution network is connected into the same capacity of DGs, the distribution equipment would show a better adaptation to DGs' decentralized integration.

In order to assess the power quality objectively and effectively, a comprehensive evaluation method of power quality based on rough set and D-S evidence theory has been proposed in this paper. The method combines rough set theory by means of defining the decision-making strength and expansion rules and using the decision-making table to obtain the basic probability assignment of D-S evidence theory, then by applying the fusion rules of evidence theory to integrate the various indicators of power quality, the pros and cons of ordering from each power quality evaluations can be obtained to achieve a comprehensive evaluation of power quality. The examples show that the results of power quality evaluation are more objective and rational by using this method. So it can prove the correctness and superiority of this method.
