Analysis of the meter reading success ratio of low-voltage power carrier with gross error elimination method

Point cloud data has been one type of widely used data sources in the field of remote sensing. Key steps of point cloud data’s pro-processing focus on gross error elimination and quality control. Owing to the volume feature of point could data, existed gross error elimination methods need spend massive memory both in space and time. This paper employed a new method which based on Kd-tree algorithm to construct, k-nearest neighbor algorithm to search, settled appropriate threshold to determine with result turns out a judgement that whether target point is or not an outlier. Experimental results show that, our proposed algorithm will help to delete gross error in point cloud data and facilitate to decrease memory consumption, improve efficiency.

This article is based on three-dimensional laser scanning technology for the modeling of a chemical plant piping, scanned point cloud data with a lot of blunders, comprehensive analysis of the point cloud handling characteristics and stage of maturity of two-dimensional graphics. As a result, a concept of transforming the point cloud data with three dimensional to two-dimensional is formed. Then, according to point and circle positional relationship in the same plane, derived an Algorithm about Gross Error Elimination, finally, programming and achieve it.

In order to determine shearing strength parameters of triaxial tests(cohesion and friction angle), nonlinear programming solution was suggested based on “minimum square sum of distance”. After proving that the vertical distances between Mohr circles and the regressed strength line are distributed normally, data with gross error would be excluded; moreover, the only strength line, as well as cohesion and friction angle, could be determined. Combining with Matlab, the solution process became rapid, precise and intuitive. Some examples verified the applicability of suggested method finally.
