This chapter discusses the history of sexual violence in US universities to see where things have changed and where they have not. It first explains the relevant terms, such as ‘higher education institution’, ‘college’ and ‘university’ as well as ‘on campus’, ‘sexualised violations’, and ‘sexual misconduct’. It then reviews the early research which overlooked the gendered nature of campus sexual violence, the initial efforts that sought to ‘teach women how to stay safe’ which were critiqued for implicit victim-blaming, and more recent prevention approaches which focus on bystander intervention and the role of friends, peers and social networks in preventing violence. It also examines victimisation and perpetration, along with the interrelationships between perpetration dynamics, campus culture and institutional governance. The chapter concludes with an analysis of issues relating to policy framing and victims' formal reporting.

AbstractSunspot observations and counting are carried out at the Specola Solare Ticinese in Locarno since 1957 when it was built as an external observing station of the Zurich observatory. When in 1980 the data center responsibility was transferred from ETH Zurich to the Royal Observatory of Belgium in Brussels, the observations in Locarno continued and Specola Solare Ticinese got the role of pilot station. The data collected at Specola cover now the last 6 solar cycles.The aim of this presentation is to discuss and give an overview about the Specola data collection, the applied counting method and the future archiving projects. The latter includes the publication of all data and drawings in digital form in collaboration with the ETH Zurich University Archives, where a parallel digitization project is ongoing for the document of the former Swiss Federal Observatory in Zurich collected since the time of Rudolph Wolf.

Pendidikan pembangunan karakter saat ini tidak dapat dinegosiasikan untuk pembentukan karakter siswa di perguruan tinggi. Salah satu elemen penting dalam pendidikan karakter mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi adalah dosen. Dosen memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi. Dalam menjalankan tugas utama Universitas Tri Dharma, yaitu melakukan pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, seorang dosen melakukan proses internalisasi nilai-nilai luhur yang kemudian menjadi budaya kampus. Dosen adalah aktor utama dalam pembentukan dan pengembangan karakter siswa dengan teladan. Sebelum mendidik karakter siswa, seorang dosen setidaknya memiliki karakter yang sesuai dengan tugas utama seorang guru. Selain itu, peran yang sangat penting yang tidak diabaikan adalah untuk mendidik, mengajar, melatih, membimbing, dan mengevaluasi.   Character building education today is non-negotiable for the character building of students in college. One important element in the character education of students in college is lecturers. Lecturers have an  important role in character education in college. In carrying out the main task of the Tri Dharma University, which is doing the teaching, research, and community service, a lecturer does a process of internalization of the noble values which later become the campus culture. Lecturers are the main actors in the formation and  development of the students’ character with exemplary. Before educating the students’ character, a lecturer at  least has the character corresponding to the main task of a teacher. In addition, a very important role of which is not overlooked is to educate, teach, train, guide, and evaluate.
