Two New Species

The following two new species from China are described: Odontotrypes (Odontotrypes) anthracinus Král & Lu, sp. nov. (Sichuan) and Odontotrypes (Odontotrypes) liupan Král & Lu, sp. nov. (Ningxia). New species are compared with similar and probably related species. Two New Species

The genus Agrotera Schrank, 1802 is revised for Australia and the generic definition is refined based on the male genitalia. The genera Leucinodella Strand, 1918 stat. rev. with L. leucostola (Hampson, 1896) comb. nov., Nistra Walker, 1859 stat. rev. with N. coelatalis Walker, 1859 comb. rev., Sagariphora Meyrick, 1894 stat. rev. with S. magnificalis (Hampson, 1893) comb. nov., and Tetracona Meyrick, 1884 stat. rev. with T. amathealis (Walker, 1859) comb. rev. and T. pictalis Warren, 1896 comb. rev. are removed from synonymy with Agrotera, as they lack the synapomorphies of Agrotera. Two new species, Agrotera genuflexa sp. nov. from Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales, and A. longitabulata sp. nov. from Queensland, are described. The taxonomic status of the Australian species of Agrotera is discussed, and a key to all species, based on males, is provided. The adults and genitalia of the new species and some related species are figured.

Two New Species

Xiphocentron is the most species-rich genus of the pantropical family Xiphocentronidae. Among its five subgenera, Antillotrichia is the most diverse and the only one to occur in South America and Antilles. In the present study, two new species of Xiphocentron (Antillotrichia) are described from southern Atlantic Forest, Brazil. Xiphocentron gwarakeraba sp. nov. is diagnosed by the very elongate inferior appendage not bearing spines and with a simple mesal sclerite; X. muelleri sp. nov. is diagnosed by the inferior appendage with its ventral margin produced posterad and distinctly truncate. New distributional records are provided for X. acqualume, X. jaguare, X. kamakan, and X. maracanan. Additional non-genital diagnostic characters are presented for X. jaguare, and intraspecific morphological variations of forewing fork II (R3 and R4) and male genitalia are described for X. maracanan.

Two New Species

Two new species of the genus Geocharis Ehlers, 1883 (Carabidae: Trechinae, Anillini) are described (Geocharis barcorabelo n. sp. and Geocharis antheroi n. sp.) from the northern region of Portugal (Iberian Peninsula). This work provides diagnostic characters for these species and, in particular, for the structure of male genitalia. The affinities with other known species namely their putative closest relatives, as well as ecological and biogeographical comments are also included. A key for the identification of the males of the Geocharis species found north of the Tejo River in Portugal is also provided. New chorologist data on other endogean carabids from Portugal are also included.

We propose two new species: Pneumia kabelaki sp. nov. from the Czech Republic and P. toubkalensis sp. nov. from Mo-rocco. Pneumia isabellae (Wagner), a new record for Slovenia, is redescribed. Differential diagnoses are included and im-portant diagnostic characters illustrated. The concept of some Palaearctic Pericomaini is discussed and all describedspecies and subspecies of the genus Pneumia Enderlein are listed with a report of 34 new combinations. The followingspecies are transferred from Pericoma Haliday to Pneumia: Pneumia ariegica (Vaillant), P. borealis (Berdén), P. califor-nica (Kincaid), P. canariensis (Tonnoir), P. delphinensis (Georges), P. extricata (Eaton, P. hirticornis (Tonnoir), P. isabel-lae (Wagner), P. jungi (Vaillant), P. longistylis (Mirouse), P. marinkovicae (Krek), P. omogoensis (Tokunaga & Komyo),P. propinqua (Satchell), P. rivularis (Berdén), P. sziladyi (Szabó), P. thomasi (Vaillant), P. vandeli (Mirouse). Hydraena (Hydraenopsis) josefinae sp. nov. and H. (H.) pernambucana sp. nov. are described respectively from Amapá and Pernambuco States, Brazil. Hydraena (H.) josefinae sp. nov. is a member of the scintillabella subgroup of the leechi group, while H. (H.) pernambucana sp. nov. belongs to the orcula complex in the marginicollis subgroup of the marginicollis group. Descriptions and diagnostic characters for both new species are offered; habitus photographs and line drawings of male genitalia of the two new species, as well as drawings of female genitalia of H. josefinae sp. n., are provided. Male genitalia of H. alterra Perkins, 1980 is illustrated and compared with that of the closely related H. josefinae sp. nov. Habitat and distributional data of the two new species are also included.

A New Species

The present study describes a new ground-beetle species (Coleoptera, Carabidae) from Madeira island (type localities: FANAL and RIBEIRO BONITO), Orthomus (Nesorthomus) susanae Serrano & Borges, n. sp. Adults were sampled by means of pitfall traps. This work provides diagnostic characters, in particular the structure of male genitalia, and the distribution of this new species. Affinities to putative relatives and a key for the identification of males of the eight Orthomus (Nesorthomus) species of the Madeira island are also given.

Two new species (Rhabdoblattella hainanensis sp. n. and Rhabdoblattella disparis sp. n.) from Hainan and Yunnan Provinces, China are described and illustrated, which extends the geographical distribution of Rhabdoblattella northward from Vietnam. The genus Dioscore Warren, 1907 is reviewed. Diagnostic characters are listed for the genus and species included, the male genitalia are described for the first time for seven species and the female genitalia for three species. Two new species are described from Papua Indonesia: Dioscore kirke Lindt, Lennuk & Viidalepp, sp. nov. and Dioscore vilu Lindt, Lennuk & Viidalepp, sp. nov. The genus with its ten species is endemic to New Guinea and nearby islands; its taxonomic affinities are discussed.
