Information communications networks, and especially their industrial versions (field networks), are an inseparable element of contemporary control systems. They enable pieces of modern industrial equipment to be coupled into a common system. In the case of older-generation equipment (universal one-stand CNC machine tools, manipulators, robots), their extension and integration in either dispersed or centralized control system is possible. As a result of modernization, it is possible to create a production line that will be built based on classic CNC machine tools and operated by manipulators or robots using network solutions and PC computers.

Dynamic effects of machining processing could not be ignored with the increasing speed of CNC machine tools, the analysis of kinematic behavior related to the kinematics, dynamics and control system etc, and there were a lot of coupling relationship of these systems. A simulation of single discipline could not reflect the overall performance with having to the simplification of the other discipline. It proposed a collaborative simulation modeling method based HLA for CNC machine tools. The development process of HLA-based simulation mainly involved system design, high level modeling, domain modeling, transformation of domain models, federal integration. Finally, this paper described an open architecture of collaborative simulation modeling with RTI, and developed the dynamics and control system models using Matlab and Adams software respectively. It provided theoretical support to solve coupling and interaction of the multi domain models of machine tools products in the design and development.

This paper analyzes CNC machine tools machining error sources, put forward a kind of on-line monitoring technology of CNC machine tools machining accuracy based on online neural network. Through the establishment of CNC machine tools condition monitoring platform, collection sensor signal of the key components of CNC machine tools, using time domain and frequency domain method of the original signal processing, extract the characteristic related to machining accuracy change, input to the neural network, identification the changes of machining accuracy. The experimental results show that, the on-line monitoring technology based on neural network, can identify the changes of machining accuracy.
