Silicon is believed to be an almost perfectly brittle material with cleavage occurring on {111} planes. In such a material at room temperature cleavage is expected to occur prior to any dislocation nucleation. This behavior suggests that cleavage fracture may be used to produce usable flat surfaces. Attempts to show this have failed. Such fractures produced in semiconductor silicon tend to occur on planes of variable orientation resulting in surfaces with a poor surface finish. In order to learn more about the mechanisms involved in fracture of silicon we began a HREM study of hardness indent induced fractures in thin samples of oxidized silicon.Samples of single crystal silicon were oxidized in air for 100 hours at 1000°C. Two pieces of this material were glued together and 500 μm thick cross-section samples were cut from the combined piece. The cross-section samples were indented using a Vicker's microhardness tester to produce cracks. The cracks in the samples were preserved by thinning from the back side using a combination of mechanical grinding and ion milling.

Sebelum suatu model reservoir digunakan, terlebih dahulu dilakukan history matching atau menyesuaikan kondisi model dengan dengan kondisi reservoir. Salah satu parameter yang perlu disesuaikan adalah permeabilitas relatif. Untuk melakukan rekonstruksi nilai permeabilitas relatifnya dibutuhkan data SCAL (Special Core Analysis) dari sampel core. Langkah awal rekonstruksi adalah dengan melakukan normalisasi data permeabilitas relatif (kr) dan saturasi air (Sw) dari data SCAL yang berasal dari tiga sampel core. Setelah dilakukan nomalisasi, dilakukan denormalisasi data permeabilitas relatif yang akan dikelompokkan berdasarkan jenis batuannya. Setelah dilakukan history matching menggunakan black oil simulator, data denormalisasi tersebut belum sesuai dengan kondisi aktual. Selanjutnya digunakan persamaan Corey untuk rekonstruksi kurva permeabilitas relatifnya. Hasil dari persamaan tersebut didapat bahwa nilai kro dan krw jenis batuan 1 sebesar 0,25 dan 0,09 kemudian nilai kro dan krw untuk jenis batuan 2 sebesar 0,4 dan 0,2. Nilai permeabilitas dari persamaan Corey digunakan untuk melakukan history matching, hasilnya didapat kecocokan (matching) dengan keadaan aktual. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, nilai produksi minyak aktualnya adalah 1.465.650 bbl sedangkan produksi dari simulasi adalah 1.499.000 bbl. Artinya persentase perbandingan aktual dan simulasinya adalah 1,14% yang dapat dikatakan cocok karena persentase perbedaannya di bawah 5%.

Aiming at the petrophysical facies recognition, a novel identification method based on the weighted fuzzy reasoning networks is proposed in the paper. First, the types and indicators are obtained from core analysis data and the results given by experts, and then the standard patterning database of reservoir petrophysical facies is established. Secondly, by integrating expert experiences and quantitative indicators to reflect the change of petrophysical facies, the classification model of petrophysical facies based on the weighted fuzzy reasoning networks is designed. The preferable application results are presented by processing the real data from the Sabei development zone of Daqing oilfield.
